Holy shite, how is Andy alive and still employed
Also, I would’ve never thought Phyllis would have out-performed Stanley

Darryl made more than Micheal.

The office was laughably over staffed. 3 accountants for what, five salesmen? You had Meredith doing…something. Pam moved from reception to…something. Sometimes you had Ryan there doing something. Kelly with customer service or something. Nobody knows what Creed did all day.

I assume Michael was making 100-125K, he’s been in the position for a few years and probably has performance bonuses if the branch hits its numbers, plus he gets a pretty sweet Sebring from the company.

I would put it at anywhere between $50 and $70K. I use two context clues.
Dwight thinks $80,000 is a lot when he told Jim about his dream job co-running a B&B in hell with Satan
When Pam told Oscar she made $50,000 as office administrator, he reacted as if that was way too much for her in that position.

The company I work for now, has 40 employees and 7 of them are accountants.

After Sabre took over, Dwight mentions having a chance at $100k commission.

$45,000 base salary for sales staff
$75,000 for Michael
$75,000 for Michael

Downsizing? I have no problem with that. I have been recommending downsizing since I first got here. I even brought it up in my interview.

Probably one of the most ridiculous things about the office was the amount of staff and staff makeup. Things like Creed, Meredith, the accountants, and maybe even someone like Toby would all be centralized.
Its something you just have to go with, or go with it as part of the joke that its based on a completely obsolete business model.

I think some people in here aren’t considering the fact that the show started nearly 2 decades ago now

I assumed they aren't CPAs, they are accounts payable/receivable types. I have worked with a lot of worthless AP/AR ladies in my day
Shitty sales jobs like that almost always have low base pay and decent commissions. In reality they would have a lot more turnover. Those jobs are designed to learn how to cold call then move on to a more technical sales job with more money

Her job title was "Supplier Relations".

And Jo even mentions how much more he is making and how he should invest in real estate. She ain't giving that advice to someone making 50k. They did a good job showing how much more the sales staff were making after the Sabre purchase when they all became assholes to the support team

One of my favorite Michael Scott quotes I just saw in the episode that they merged offices..."It's not about who's salary is more or less, they're just different"

Warehouse foreman daryl was barely making below michael, and I wouldn't think someone in that position would be making anywhere close to $75k. If sales staff was base of $45K like you said which seems reasonable, I'd guess Daryl was making making $55 and Michael was making low $60s. Granted that seems low for his position, but Daryl really made it seem like he was jsut barely below what michael was. He was also shocked to the point of laughter at how little michael made so I dont' think he'd have that reaction if he was making $75K
