$90k? Didn't look like an expensive area to live.

I found this image. Jim was doing $67k in a quarter. Wonder what commission % was?

Dwight's dream job was running a bed and breakfast in hell with an $80k salary. So a bit less than that.

Just guessing but when Dwight was telling Jim that he was going to be the next manager he mentioned the salary of 80K. Pam gave herself a salary of $41,500 when she made up the Office Manager gig. I’m just guessing that the sales staff has a base salary of 40-50K with commissions on top of that. Accountants between 50-65K Angela prob making around 70-75K. Kelly, Creed, etc… 35-45K. Warehouse depends on what qualifications they have… forklift operator, CDL etc… they could be making 20-40 an hour plus time and a half OT. If the Regional Manager starting salary was 80K I assume Michael was making 100-125K, he’s been in the position for a few years and probably has performance bonuses if the branch hits its numbers, plus he gets a pretty sweet Sebring from the company. Although everyone kind laughed when they found out about Michael’s salary. But later he had the money to pay for a huge ring so I guess he got more aggressive with his financial package over the years.

Wasn't Jim making more than Michael as a salesman, and when Michael found out he tried to get them to give the job to Jim?

That was when Sabre took over and they had an aggressive commission plan. But I'm watching S7 and they put a cap on Jim commission.

I always laugh they had 3 accountants for a 20-30 person office.

I think Oscar mentions that early on when there are rumors about downsizing.

Are we really counting Kevin though? He couldn’t do basic math without Angela breaking it down into food terms he’d understand. No way does he make more than 35k.

He was a gambler though. Probably made some coin on the ponies.

For the sales staff?

The Branch manager can barely afford a small Condo...

And this is his price range for a flatscreen...

And it's not because he wasted his money on Scott's Tots (he didn't.)

Michael drives a Seabring.
Jim drives a Corolla.
Ryan has Honda Civic and then a Chevy Cobalt.
Angela drives a Ford Focus.
Oscar drives a Saturn.
Kevin drives a Honda CR-V.

No sales staff is making above $45,000 in 2005.

$90k? More than enough places to live pretty good in this country for that money, even today, just no truck nuts or McMansions.

Nope, Darryl was laughing at his pay stub and saying he barely makes more than him. Michael had perks thou, like having sex with Jan.

Michael did have to rummage through the discount bin to find a ladies suit.
