I've been to this one when I lived in Dothan. Lots of fun in the summer. It had good burgers too. I wish there was more of them.

I used to go to the one in Vegas all of the time. The weather in Louisiana is not conducive for this business though.

There's a nice one out in Phoenix that I used to go to a lot.

I haven't bothered looking for one where I live now, what with the humidity and mosquitoes I don't want to sit outside to watch a movie.

There used to be one here in Hattiesburg but it closed after Katrina. I don't think there are any at all in Mississippi.

There is one 10 minutes from my house. Up until a few years ago, it was $10 per vehicle($5 one night per week). Now it's like $5 per person.

The food is reasonably priced, but they also let you bring in grills or whatever before the movie.

There is one not far from me, good prices for the movie and food because you can bring in your own food. They have their own radio frequency there so you do not need the old speaker boxes.

My wife and I went to one about 2 weeks ago. First time we had ever been to one. We both had a blast and couldn't figure out why more of these were not still around.

If you have a chance to go to one I highly recommend making the trip!

How these places aren't widely popular is beyond me. You get to watch 2-3 movies for the price of one, and can get schlitzed during them.

/first bj was at a drive in during "crimson tide"

This teacher whore tried to open one in Salem (on the Opelika/Auburn border) in a LIVE cow pasture. That's strike one. Strike two and three was the fact that only antiquated movies were played there.

Needless to say, it shut down in less than a year.

Other than that, I can't recall ever seeing one in person.

The only ones I've had a chance to go to were really crappy.

Most of the big good ones (especially in California) closed down due to lawsuits (near highways) and changing times.

Only small crappy ones in small towns seem to continue like this crummy one in Dallas, Oregon which used to be near me...

It's a shame.
