Does White Lotus Season 3 get any better after episode 1

Watched the first two seasons back to back and thought that both were incredible.
But the first episode of Season 3 was abysmal. The three blonde ladies all speak with fake customer service voices and their scenes are awkward and irritating. The southern mom has one of the worst southern accents ever, and the oldest son is an idiot too.
My expectations may have been too high for Season 3.

Agreed. It was horrendous. People for some reason loved it though.
But yes, it gets better and is worth the watch.

I thought Season 3 was great. It’s the longest season, so there is a little more setup.

S3 was far better than S2.
But I've enjoyed every season so far honestly. I can just only handle so much Jennifer Coolidge.

Parker Posey’s accent will grow on you. She’s exaggerating it on purpose.
S3 is not as good as S2 but you should watch it if anything for the BIG cameo later in the season. It’s worth the watch for Walter Goggins alone. He kills it.

Parker Posey is originally from Mississippi so it probably wasn’t hard for her in this role. Growing up in Louisiana I know tons of women with accents exactly like her in this show.

yep. Also you have to imagine the accent is at least partly for show just like everything else the family does

I am mid-season 3 and it's great. The only storyline I don't particularly care about is with Gaitok, I couldn't care less about what's going on with him.
It was the same in season 2 with the hotel manager Valentina or whatever her name was. I just didn't give a shite about her plight.

The way she over stresses the O in words with a hard O ridiculous and there are zero women with accents exacly like her.
Now on episode 3 and alredy fast forwarding through the three blonde friend scenes and also the black lady wellness expert scenes.
I may have fast forwarded thrrough two or three scenes total in Season 1 and Season 2 combined (when Aubrey Plaza and her boyfriend were having a discussion about their relationship for the 24th and 25th time).
