Ya know.. something you've seen a million times that helps you sleep or is just good background noise ?

For me its Fight Club or pretty much any Harry Potter movie. (Weird combo i know) .

Pretty much any move I've seen a ton of times is what I'll do for background noise when working or whatever. I hate complete dead silence for the most part. I don't really have one specific move for a "go to"

League of Their Own. I'll watch it because it came on TV in the mid afternoon and I'm napping within 10 minutes. I love the movie. But for some reason it doesn't keep my attention well enough.

All of Alexander Payne's movies (Sideways, About Schmidt, Election, Nebraska, The Descendants) are frequent go-to-sleep movies for me. But not Downsizing. Downsizing was fricking terrible.

I can enjoy them while relaxing for ~20 minutes, then lie down and shut my eyes and not have to worry about explosions, gunfire, etc jarring me awake.

I've tried to watch Godzilla: King of Monsters the past 2 nights after the wife went to bed and I don't think I've made it past 15 minutes yet

The second Pirates of the Caribbean movie. I have no idea if it's any good but the 2 or 3 times I tried to watch it I was asleep in 10 minutes.

My "sick" movie watch is Groundhog Day. I've seen it so many times that and since the premise is that the day repeats I'll just load up on meds and play it on repeat.

Solid choice. Thats kinda my thing though. It has to be a movie I've seen a bunch that I can just close my eyes and picture it perfectly.

A Good Year with Russell Crowe. Idk why but I find it immensely quaint. I never seem to tire of at least a good 45min - an hour of it before dozing off

Tv show: The Office. I can close my eyes and watch the show in my head just from the audio (I know I’m not alone with this ability)

Movie: HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy (so long and thanks for all the fish just puts me in the relaxed zone)

I load up a playlist with Rifftrax movies before I go to bed, most of the time.

If you like The Middle, it's a great show to go to sleep to. No theme music is a major plus.

As much as I love King of the Hill, it's terrible to fall asleep to. The same music at the beginning and end of episodes can really get annoying when you're binging something.

No, but i did have a friend in HS that literally put in Paul Blart: Mall Cop every single night to fall asleep. He told me and every time I’d spend the night it was that movie.

I don't really have one now but when my brothers and I were young we would put Hook on and be zonked out.

It worked the night before xmas like 6 years in a row from when I was like 7-12

IMO it's not weird at all. I can go to sleep to any movie that is scored by John Williams.
