A soft reboot should have been done following end game, they’ve just taken most of their A list off the table and think frick you we’re Marvel, eat it.
Batman continues to smash at the box office because he’s fricking Batman, an iconic character. Play the hits guys

First of all, RT scoring system is about as bad as Amazon's. Totally rigged.
You pass if the movie considered tolerable. There are lots of MCU movies and shows today that are tolerable; the effects and action are professionally done. There's generally a built-in audience that will at least give it a watch, the plots are mundane but usually coherent. You go in, are generally able to follow what's going on, nobody loves or hates it (the term, I think, is "it's a decent way to pass a few hours when you don't have things to do). They generally LOOK ok. Nothing's campy-bad to the point of being a direct-to-video B movie.
That's probably a 5 or 6 out of ten... and thus, Fresh.
The MCU gets consistent fresh ratings because nothing's SO bad you just turn over to a rerun of NCIS or something like that, in the middle of it.
Black Widow at 91%... I saw that. I don't give it a 9 out of 10, I doubt I will rewatch it. Ever, honestly. But it was ok, didn't suck. 91% of people agree, it was ok and didn't suck (in their opinion). So, it gets a 91.

I think that I watched the first ten or twelve Marvel movies. I just kinda got tired of them.

They aren’t in panic mode over marvel shows tanking
They are in panic mode because they have to come up with an original thought and hope it succeeds, while checking off demographic boxes

At first I thought I had to watch all the shows to stay in the loop for the next big team up movies, but after Moon Knight felt like a chore I said frick it. I’m not watching all this watered down shite, it’s too much.
Too much content and it’s majority dog shite
I’ll never watch a single scene of Ms marvel, she hulk, etc.

You're giving us the generic fairy tale version of what RT is SUPPOSED to be. But like we saw with Amazon, RT has throttled its scores to give favorable reviews to the big studios.
You're not wrong about the built in fanbase though. But taking for granted the loyalty of the audience, making a mockery of characters and then insulting the customers isn't going to work in the long run.

I seriously doubt they are in panic mode. What their profits went from $4.2 billion down to $3.9 billion? It’s a drop in the bucket for Disney
The parks are making money, but they aren't investing in the parks.
The streaming stuff isn't making money, but they are investing in streaming by making woke crap.
The stock price tells you how investors think this strategy is going to work out.

Some of the shows are just cringe. In fairness, I don't care about wokeness ratios. I just can't stand super hero crap anymore.... I know... get off my lawn. yeah I'm old and cranky but I bet even young folks are starting to get sick of nothing but super hero movies and shows.
I do love the meme with the chick from Better Call Saul written by men and Twerking She-Hulk written by women.

Or are you full of shite?

They are putting actual respected actors in these films, not like a lot of 80's action films. There's very little in the line of actual "jeez, that guy can't even read a script coherently". Like I said, they aren't B movies.
Very few are compelling, but that isn't the bar.
And, yes, the mindset of the viewer has changed. I'm a huge Saints fan, a few years back I was debating whether to watch the 1st round of the NFL draft (a ritual for me and many others), or Infinity War opening weekend. Now I'm generally leaning on watching a movie when it hits Disney+, instead of on the big screen. (The Saints are down now too, but that's a different topic).

I think She Hulk is pleasantly enjoyable.

Spider-Man NWH 98%
Dr Strange Universe of Madness 85%
Ms Marvel 77%
Thor 77%
She Hulk 36% first real flop
Say what you want about wokeness or whatever but Ms Marvel was way better than Hawkeye and Falcon/WS - those two sucked and didn't do anything

Comic books are full of diverse stories. I am not talking about the color of the characters skin but rather the types of stories told. I am fine with a lawyer based marvel show, whatever, but this lawyer based marvel show SUCKS. Ms. Marvel was OK, it really only had one really good scene. Now catering comic book shows to people who are not comic book fans written and made by people who are not comic book people is just dumb and of course is going to not work... shocker.
Posted on 9/28/22 at 10:42 pm to Frac the world
The tv shows have become like comics that would release before movies to provide some back story, hardcore people will watch because they’re fans but they’ve been largely unnecessary viewing for the MCU as a whole.

These shows are garbage. And for the reasons I (and others) have stated.
But keep consuming content & then getting excited for next content.
