Have all the streaming services, don't know what they cost, don't care about tiny price hikes and never have to worry about not having every single bit of content available to me at a moment's notice.

Lol at people who didnt cancel years ago.

Yes, let's laugh at people who pay $10ish a month for something they find entertaining. It is so shockingly terrible I must signal my virtues to a board full of random anonymous strangers so they will know how righteous I am even though they don't know who I am.

There has to be a breaking point for people and these prices. I mean they are continually raising prices a couple of times per year

depends on if you have kids.

Bluey is the best show on television. The Disney and Pixar catalog is great for kids.

With Hulu it’s got a
ton of shite.

Netflix is probably the best then Disney+ Bundle then I guess HBO Max?

I have Peacock too apparently and if you have younger kids there is a British show called Hey Duggee that’s really cute.

Yea I don't have kids and I'm not a Star Wars or Marvel fanboy, so it's just not for me. There's only so many times you can watch a Marvel movie. I don't mind paying a decent price for streaming services but at least bring me a decent amount of new content. Disney+ is severely lacking in new content (for adults, can't speak for kids) when compared to other services.

Of all the ones I have/had I'd probably rank them:

Netflix - Simply based off the amount of stuff you're able to watch
Max - The top tier stuff is better than anyone else's
Apple+ - The most underrated service by far. People that don't have Apple+ are missing out. They do Sci-Fi better than anyone and have great dramas.
Amazon - Ok. Would probably cancel if it wasn't included with Prime.
Paramount - Meh. Would cancel if it wasn't included with a Wal-Mart delivery subscription
Hulu - Cancelled. Love The Bear and access to FX but just never would find any new content that I really liked enough to justify it
Disney - Cancelled

Yeah I would go

Disney+ because I have a kid and i guess I have Hulu with it.
Netflix
Max
Amazon

Amazon is just pure lagniape. because I payed for prime long before I ever watched a video on Amazon video.

Sucks, but if you can tolerate the commercials, the basic bundle is still one of the best deals around. I keep the ESPN+ subscription because they stream 3/4 of the tennis Grand Slams there, (French Open rights are owned by Warner Bros and will likely steam on HBO).

Do they air any games worth watching on ESPN+? Usually you need a cable subscription to watch anything that is airing on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, etc.

They air a ton of college baseball games, including LSU, which is the only reason I have it. Soccer, UFC, etc, does nothing for me.

A cable subscription with SEC Network is still needed in order to watch LSU home games and conference series. Those games are on SECN+ which does not require an ESPN+ subscription. Just part of the confusing format of LSU baseball streaming.

LSU away non-conference games (except for the tournaments) are the only ones where an ESPN+ subscription is required.

eta: But you're right that there are a ton of non-SEC college baseball games on ESPN+.

They really just want to brink back cable at this point. I signed up for Max to watch HOTD and I am wondering why to even keep it. I use to watch it when it was included with my internet, but I don't see anything new the the past year worth watching, but maybe I am missing something.

I keep Disney+ for my youngest, he is special needs and loves watching anything with Mickey or Donald in it, but I find myself only logging on less and less. My wife uses Hulu for whatever she watches, so it's not expensive, just annoying that we are basically going full circle back to cable style service.

They must have concluded their subscriber growth pace has levelled off and this is the big push to profitability.

As far as this year goes...

Hacks - Top tier comedy imo. Funniest girl comedy I have ever seen.
Tokyo Vice S2
The Jinx Pt. 2
The Regime
True Detective - Awful, under no circumstances should you watch this.
Two coming soon that should be very good: The Penguin and Dune Prophecy.

As always I'm going to plug my favorite show of all time just in case you haven't seen it... The Leftovers.

I'm assuming you've seen the all time greats?

Band of Brothers
True Detective S1
Chernobyl
The Wire
Deadwood
The Pacific
Boardwalk Empire
Eastbound and Down
Vice Principles
The Sopranos
Six Feet Under
Generation Kill
Succession
Barry
John Adams
Veep
Game of Thrones S1-5
Mare of Eastown
Rome
The White Lotus

If you haven't seen some of those it'd be worth it to keep it until you watch some of them. They are all worth a watch. Even if Max didn't have new stuff, I'd keep MAX just for rewatch purposes.
