If they are going to do this, just push the reset button.

Make Indy younger, get a good young actor involved, and set in the 1920s/30s.

Give it the James Bond treatment.

What exactly does this mean? I can't click the link, but aside from making more films (like it says in your quote) what else does "taking over" a movie trilogy mean? Just having the rights to sell merchandise/memorabilia?

Why is everyone worried? I thought they have been doing a good job with Marvel? Surely they can handle SW and Indy.

They really just need to reboot.

Do I want them to do it? No. But they are going to.

I'd rather them just reboot it then haul out the corpse of harrison ford again.

No George Lucas and get the writers of The Adventures of Tintin and this would be fine. That movie was what IJ4 should have been.

They have to do another movie to make up for the abortion that was the fourth installment.

As long as there aren't any aliens I am okay with another installment. They need to go back to religious themes. They work.

With the Ark and The Holy Grail done already, what would be a major religious item worth basing a movie over?
