George Lucas - Star Wars 7, 8, 9

Yes I said it. At least he loved the material and would put together a coherent and consistent plot line and not just three random movies put together separately by people who hate the source material or only understand it at surface value. Hell I would pay significant money to see a Lucas cut much like the Snyder cut of Justice League

Alternately, give me Favreau and Filoni

Took the words right out of my mouth

People can hate on the prequels all they want but SW wouldn’t be as big as it is without them. The universe building in those was important

The actors themselves weren’t the problem, the dialogue was just bad

There was no soul in the new ones, even though I liked some of the ideas they had (kylo ren idolizing Vader to the point of willingly joining the dark side, a turncoat stormtrooper, knights of ren)

I have no real opinion of the show yet. We're only at episode two. I do think Peter is responsible for the abortion that is the Hobbit series. I would have loved to see Denis Villeneuve take a stab at it.

I don’t think Peter was responsible for the worst parts of the Hobbit trilogy - namely forcing it into an awkward trilogy

Cut to:
Blank piece of paper. Hand with pen appears and begins to scribble.

Col. Hans Landa [V.O.]
Dear Monsieur. I hope my letter finds you well. It has come to my attention you might be in the possession of certain Jews on your property. As you know, this is a big no no. Affectionally yours, Hans.

Another piece of paper appears on a another desk held in place by a glass of milk. A couple of wet milk spots are on the corner of the parchment. Another, larger hand begins to write.

Perrier LaPadite [V.O.]
Cher colonel. Your letters brings my house great joy as always. Jews?! No way. We are but poor dairy farmers. Germany suits you well. Au revoir, Perrier. P.S. the girls say hi.

you forgot to cut between hand-writing to a central shot of the author looking up from the paper directly into the camera (likely with a silly clothing option or facial hair choice).

Sam Pekinpah doing The Cincinnati Kid as originally scheduled would have been interesting.

I suppose there's an alternate universe out there where Spielberg directed Return of the Jedi.

There is one where David Lynch did it instead of Dune.
