Long time reader, first time poster. I think Deb will end up supporting Dex and kinda pick up where Harry left off, by helping him not be so damn sloppy.
And wasnt that Harrisons basket Travis had on the roof? Wouldn't Deb see that and think "that's Harrison's shite!"?
And it has been awhile since I've seen the older seasons but earlier in the series didn't Dexter find out Harry was sleeping with his informant a.k.a. Dexters mom that was murdered in the freight container. So wouldn't there be the possibility of Dex and Deb being related by blood?

I thought Dexter's biological father was the guy who died in Season 1, not Harry.

Thats correct. The Ice Truck Killer (aka Dexter's brother) killed Dexter's real dad in season 1.

i think the conflict in Season 6 between those two will be that Dexter keeps killing the serial killers before Homicide can solve the case. Deb's solve rate is really bad thus far and she will have to get Dex to let her actually arrest these people.

My theory:
Deb finds out that Dexter is a killer and realizes he isn't the model of a person she fantasizes to be with. Therefore, she is no longer in love with him. His serial killer past gives her the closure she was looking for. She decides to support him as her family much like Harry.
I'm struggling with the whole attraction to Dexter thing. Seems so wrong.

This is the first season of Dexter i havent liked. Seems like it is falling apart. This season blew., as many have said

Same here. Seasons 3 and 5 weren't great, but they were still perfectly watchable. The dialogue this season was flat out painful and over-the-top. It was like they got writers from those shitty forensic cop shows that are on USA, etc.

OTOH, I'm glad she caught Dexter in the act. She will certainly be able to rationalize Travis's murder once she finds out he was going to ritually sacrifice Harrison, and she already suspected Dexter escaped the ring of fire. This Travis a-hole was going to take away the two people who matter to her. Good ol' Deb. She'll be on board with the whole thing before we know it.

I don't know about y'all, but I am really curious how the hand is going to play into all of this in addition to how the intern plays into it.
I do think that the intern knows who/what Dexter is already so that is why I think he mailed him the hand in the first place.

I think the intern is taking his game to real life.

Any reason to keep Showtime now that Dexter is over? I'll get hbo when got and trublood start again.
