This season has been shite from start to finish. Pathetic dialog, lame premise, too much focus on other characters.
I think I am done with Dexter, the show hasn't lived up to it's first season (except for the trinity season).

Didn't see that happening. Mainly bc they've never left dexter end with a cliffhanger like this before. Every season has had a complete ending.

I've enjoyed this season more than season 5, which I rank as the worst out of the 6.
1 is the best IMO.

While agree this season was below average by Dexter standards, I'm still going to watch as many Dexter episodes as they create.

solid ending. she sent him to the church to get him alone so she could try to bang, imo.
the other cliffhanger was the hand sent to dexter that was left on top of the fridge.
the ending with quinn/batista made no sense.

I am glad about the end and I'm interested to see where it goes from here, but other than that just another ridiculous, sloppy episode.
Why was there only one security guard on the roof?
Yet another major building with no security footage?
And worst of all, nobody takes a look inside a crime scene until the blood spatter guy shows up. Since fricking when?

yeah, the ending to season 4 was the perfect ending for that season.
but then the lumen saga and now this? i really hope next season is better. take away Deb finding out and Deb's "feelings" for dex and this season is right down there with 3 and 5.
