WTH? Is this the same LHotP with Michael Landon and Melissa (1/2 Pint) Gilbert?
None of this makes any sense.
Did CERN totally screw up the timeline again?

Daggum Albert. Didn't he start smoking in a school basement and it burned with that lady and a baby trapped in it?

I watched this show all the time as a kid and do not remember this episode.
But, it fits with Albert. Everything about Albert and his whole story line was dark. I think I tuned out a lot about him.

I'm surprised that the dad shot him instead of Charles. Seems like every single time a hero was needed it was always Charles Ingalls... every. single. time. Like there was not another single alpha male or problem solver in the entire town.

Found it on Amazon Prime and I feel dirty just watching it.

I don't remember this episode at all. I do remember some dark episodes with Albert hooked on Morphine.

They had a whole bunch of weird shite in this show. The dude with the beard was a nut job for sure.

Merlin Olsen beat the frick out of some bouncer who beat up Charles. One of my favorite scenes.
M.O.- "Are you the bouncer?"
Bouncer -"Yep"
M.O.- "Well, get to bouncin''.

This thread reminds me of a young Charles Bronson’s stint replacing Andy Griffith….

Mr. Isaiah Edwards would like a word

quote:Yeah there were casual sitcom episodes followed by hardcore wtf episodes. The one where Albert is strung out and withdrawing from morphine was unsettling. Then there was the episode that was a “last house on the left” knock off where a gang breaks out of jail and terrorizes the school for the blind.

The bitchy Mrs Olsen could get it!

I don't watch Albert episodes in the same way I don't watch Cousin Oliver episodes or Seven episodes.
Albert had a ton of dark episodes. His morphine addiction episode is just as crazy. Most memories of the show are about pigtailed Laura and Lindsey Sydney Greenbush stumbling in a prairie in the intro, but man is late stage Little House crazy.
Edit'd 'cause I just remembered the one where Mr. Edwards and Charles travel to Chicago to track down Edwards' son's killer.
