When did this liberal invasion start with Disney? Back in the day it was a family oriented conservative company

Started with their investors. Vanguard, Blackrock, and State Street.

The film will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, who also directed episodes 4 and 5 of ‘Ms. Marvel’.
Big jump from mostly documentaries and a couple of Ms Marvel episodes to a large budget Star Wars sequel.

They really got the wrong message of Marvel previously hiring Jon Favreau, James Gunn, and the Russo Brothers. Got to hire someone with obvious talent first and not just pluck a rando from an Indy project.

Space Wheel of Time?
Yes, Disney is exactly the hero we need to out-retard Amazon.

The message is the business, and it transcends profit motive.

From her Wikipedia
Someone tell me the definition of insanity again...

I honestly think there is SO much interesting stuff they could do with the future after the Skywalker saga. There is even interesting stuff they could do with Rey.
It would be very lonely, cold, and dangerous out there for her.
But they won't do any of that stuff, and they didn't hire a Director that will likely have the experience, vision, or talent to do it.
Just another nobody activist

The propaganda is more important than the story, this is not hard to figure out people.

I honestly have no idea about her acting skills. Being Rey doesn’t demand much.

There was, TFA left it open ended. That ship has sailed.
And then sunk.

A talented filmmaker with vision could make things interesting. You don't think, say, Denis Villeneuve could do something with it?

I would cast off almost all of the Disney+ content, and I would retcon or just sort of blackhole a lot of 7-9. I understand that's a bit counterintuitive and hard to do given, well, its Rey, but frick it. Make your own film that respects canon but is a little fast and loose with anything not episodes 1-6.
Rey, essentially alone, the only real Jedi that she is aware of, searching like a detective for signs of force sensitive people. We are dealing with a galaxy with the New Republic in shambles, the Resistance not a governing body capable of overseeing the galaxy, the Empire/New Order essentially over, and a thousands of planets in disarray, left to fend for themselves.
She has a completely lonely, impossible job searching the universe in often hostile places. It is hard, singular, demanding, and lonely, while she herself must struggle with the inner demons of her past.
I would set it up almost like a detective/bounty hunter story, dealing with the outer rim.

I’ve never really put much thought into it (because those movies aren’t worth thinking about) but this is insane.
The galaxy is probably in worse shape than had the Empire just won. Literally every government structure has been destroyed. Every competent person killed. There’s just pirates and slaves left.
What a disaster of a happy ending the sequel trilogy left…

That is correct. Abrams decisions in tFA put them inexorably down that path.
Its a wild wild wild galaxy now. That could be interesting.
It also leads to force sensitive people living in places where there is no Empire hunting them down to kill them, but essentially 1 person in the galaxy looking to help them.
They are left to their own devices which could also lead to some interesting stuff.

Are we seriously still pretending that Star Wars isnt just a vessel for woke propaganda for Disney to write off as a tax loss?

No, we aren't pretending.
We are talking about what could be, not what is and what will be.
I've said it won't happen. Just saying that there is plenty of ways they could do it right, knowing they will not
