The ST was like 45 years or more after Ezra was introduced and over 50 years after Omega was introduced.
With everything Dave has been cooking with Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, Rebels, and The Bad Batch, they had the perfect opportunity to do a soft reboot of the post ROTJ era, but no. They want to double down on their stupid choices.
