Was thinking about Craig Ferguson's tenure as host on the Late Late Show ever since I started watching The Hustler hosted by Ferguson. I realized how underrated of a late night host he is. In my opinion he is the absolute best Late Night host in my lifetime. His show prided itself on the fact that it was on at 1:30 AM and leaned into surrealist humor, almost like a deconstruction of the late night talk show.

But his monologues are the best, and Ferguson easily mops the floor with Colbert, Fallon, Kimmel etc. Always improvised, hilarious, and heartfelt. Check out this monologue about rehab. No one can do it like Ferguson.

It's such an injustice that someone as comedically brilliant as Ferguson was replaced with fat pussy James Corden.

These aren't late night talk shows any longer. The latter part of the Letterman regime turned them all into the Joseph Goebbels DNC Propaganda Machine. Each network should be fined BILLIONS for not reporting in-kind political contributions.

And, as a result they are all "unfunny". It's one thing to be "not funny" but it's entirely something else when it's unfunny.

Ferguson was the last real late night talk show host.

It's amazing they think we're all dupes and that canned laughter would make people at home say, (enter Bill Burr voice) wow I must be in the complete and total wrong, it seems like the entire country thinks Christian values are just a relic from old Southern rubes. I never thought of it that way.

Thank you Jimmy Fallon, thank you Fallon paid audience...I now see the mainstream pulse of America. I will now vote accordingly...I just want to fit in with the beautiful celebs.

Big CF fan. He would have been a great "Doctor" in Doctor Who. He loves the show and has that quirkiness that would be perfect for the role.

Watch his interviews with Robin Williams. It’s some of the funniest damn TV I’ve seen. Craig didn’t really interview Robin. It was more like they gave Robin 10 minutes to do whatever he wanted.

While true there is a way to do it. Im as radical of a conservative as youll find on here probably. But deep down, i love comedy more than all else.

Jon Stewart in his prime was a great fricking host even though he was a self important lib.

Hell, Colbert Report Colbert was great too. That dude should teach a masterclass on "How to make yourself not funny anymore". its not even just "he cares too much about one thing and its stale and he cant get away from it". He legitimately cant write or deliver a joke anymore. He cant laugh at one or tell one. Its INSANE. He delivers these little one liners for commercials to get you to watch it and its SHOCKING how bad of comedy it is.

I've never been let down further by an entertainer than the above. I really thought he was going to be my go-to late night guy after Letterman left. Then I realized that his self-importance on The Colbert Report wasn't all an act.

Craig was also the GOAT when it came to flirting. I've never seen a guy get so many gorgeous women to blush and flirt back with him. He should teach classes on how to flirt.

Craig's book is one of the single best written "celebrity" books you'll ever read. And he actually wrote it, unlike 99.9% of all other celeb autobiographies.

He's one of the great underutilized talents in recent Hollywood history. His ability to host a show is on another level, but his interviewing ability and chemistry with almost any guest are what really set him apart.

His late night show was genius, and he really didn't even give a shite the last 3 or 4 years, and it was still leaps and bounds superior to all other shows on the air at the time.

I stopped watching late night shows basically after he left and Letterman and Leno retired. I won't watch communist propaganda.

All you gotta do is watch Craig interview someone, anyone and then watch any of the loser chumps today to see what great entertainment used to be and a complete waste of time late night shows are now.

Craig is right behind Carson and that's it. I'll allow you to tack on young Dave Letterman and that's it.

As aforementioned, the way Craig could interact with any actress is astounding. But he was awesome at having genuine moments with anyone.
