Did Tori call Kreese grandpa just to say it cause he's old, or he's actually her grandpa? I was in the kitchen and the wife was babbling on, so I didn't see it.

I think she was pretending to be Kreese's granddaughter so that she could visit him in prison. I'm not sure why she had to do it since I would think a prisoner could get a visit from anyone, but I think that is why she did it.

Finally finished it. I thought it came out of the gate pretty slow for the first few episodes, but it really got going in the second half and that final episode was orgasmic. How many felonies do you think were committed by all parties in that episode? It's just a masterpiece, right up there with Cersei blowing up the sept.
That said, I don't think they can keep this up for more than one more season. They still have some untapped resources, including more badass Mike Barnes, but the villains are getting used up and the level of absurdity can't go much higher. We already know about the super mega karate tournament in Japan, which both dojos have qualified for. There's no way they don't find a way to get everyone there, and that seems a good way to end it and expend what few unused characters they still have.
But, this is Netflix's biggest show now, so they'll likely squeeze it for everything they can.
ETA: And the moment I see Jaden Smith's face, I'm out.

He needs better goons. Thats always been a Terry Silver weakness. He needs to antie up and get a couple Tong Po, Chong li or Sho'nuffs to always have around.
Also, id want to buy into the UFC and use it to put my logo in the ring and further legitimize my dojo with top level companies on PPV and sponsorships/partnerships..and have a dojo in Vegas as well as los Angeles

Will Smith is a producer of the show, so unfortunately I don't think we can 100% count out the possibility until the show is officially over.

The biggest problem is these "High School" aged kids now look like the post college-aged mid-20's kids that most of them are. You've also properly addressed the other script issues.
For this show to go past 6 seasons it would have to have a major makeover by keeping only a few of the "kids" and see what happens.
With it being so damn popular who knows? I'll keep watching it as long as Johnny is doing his thing.

I get this, but it was stated pretty early on that this show was set in the "Myagi-verse". So only people associated with Myagi would make an appearance.

Silver kinda confirmed it too by saying he never had any children. It was up for debate that Snake was hid kid, being he was listed or called Snakw Silver. Etc.

This show is basically a karate teen drama riddled with retarded fan service, and I love every minute of it.
