I know some people say he quit, but they had just fired 2 chicks for getting DWIs so they had to fire him too even though he was able to get his 2 DWIs in the same night fixed. I'll always believe he was given the option to leave instead of being fired and he took it.

The studio's hands were tied since they had just fired the 2 chicks for DWI. Actually made for a good episode though. I wonder what Michael's character arc would have looked like if Anna Lucia and Libby had taken a taxi home.

Everyone on the set and in the writer’s room fricking hated the actor that played Eko. He was a dick to everyone (Terry O’Quinn especially loathed him) and always sent back scripts to the writer’s room if they weren’t perfect for him. Then in the final season he wanted like 100K to come back for an episode, and the writers just told him to go frick himself from there. If Lance Reddick wasn’t busy filming the Wire, he would have gotten the part.

And I think killing Ana Lucia was always the plan in one season, but wasn’t for Libby. I also think that much of Eko’s arc was taken over by Ben, specifically Ben killing Jacob and his relationship with the Monster.

To clarify, I should've said that she didn't die by being burned to death by her father.

I still cannot hardly watch when Henry Blake Died on M*A*S*H. The fact that only radar and Hawkeye knew the ending and that this was the cast’s sincere response is pretty sad.

I always felt like he let him live because the translator is the reason he wasn’t shot by the guys earlier in the movie.

But yeah, that German was directly responsible for a number of deaths of the American’s group. Had Uppem (Was that his name???) let them kill the German earlier in the movie then he wouldn’t have been around to kill a few of their guys in the final battle. I always thought it was very good of the director to show how it was that specific guy who came back and killed a number of them.

The smartest person in the show, who caused the war of the 5 kings... Then he just sits at winterfell and waits to be killed. Sloppy arse writing
