Here’s an even 100, psycho.
An even $100 million they projected on Sunday morning for a Friday - Monday box office with $12 million also coming in on Thursday previews. I have never liked marvel movies so I don’t have a dog in this fight but there is no way that is a positive opening 4 (really 5) day weekend number.

Happy this made money for movie theaters but I’ve heard it’s horrible

I enjoyed it. Better than Strange and Eternals and Love and Thunder.
Didn’t like the reliance once again on mind control crap. I mean Sam should have just told Ross to remember the whole Sokovia Accords and how Bucky was brainwashed. That plot device definitely needs to be put to bed.
Sam was great as Captain America. Joaquin was fine. I like the new Widow.
It was basically Winter Soldier light. I put it on par with Civil War as that was my least favorite Captain America movie.

And as for a black American solider in a super hero gear? Already done!
War Machine?
Iron Patriot?
That's in the MCU history! It's like everyone at Disney Marvel has collective amnesia.
“138 combat missions. That's how many I've flown, Tony. Every one of them could've been my last, but I flew 'em. Because the fight needed to be fought.”

In a vacuum the “Captain America” title transferring to Falcon as Steve Rodgers decided to live out his original timeline as if it would be before being frozen is fine.
However, this occurs at the exact same time as a TON of other IP either does (or also does depending on your view) a knee-jerk political shift that was more about in-line with the median terminally on-line redditor than the median American.
This occurs as Hawkeye/Thor become secondary characters in their own universe, Strange becomes arguably secondary to Wanda in his universe in terms of power, She-Hulk comes out. Star Wars goes Mary Sue, Snow White/Dinklage tries ditching the dwarves and the actress says some sh*t that would no doubt piss off 50+% of the population, Ghostbusters tries the all-female reboot…

Yep. Both have females come in & do things better than the established male characters.

Not only that but American Chavez pops in as well! We get girl bossery on top of girl bossery in what should be a Doctor Strange sequel.

I think I found it funny because he thinks that saying this movie was better than Strange and Eternals and Love and Thunder is some kind of compliment.

Yeah we should be done with black superheroes since we already have some.
That box is checked who cares if Mackie makes a good Cap we need a white one
Once again you prove you cant see anything in a non-political/woke lens.

Then you’re the unicorn because there’s always different opinions by fans from one perspective or another. Same in sports, politics, religion, and pretty much everything
The difference is you said it yourself you dont watch any of it to form your own opinion. You listen to what others say on youtube and then shite post in threads with people who want to talk about what they've seen.
why not just create a megathread on your youtube videos and discuss it there

I am not a comic book nerd so can someone explain red hulk?
In the comics he was created by the Intelligencia (group of supersmart villains, like the Leader, etc.) as part of the arc World War Hulks.
It... wasn't very good. They basically had him one-shotting everyone, including the Watcher (he takes down Iron Man, She-Hulk, Thor, the Hulk, and the Watcher with ease and a copious amount of bad writing). Then Thor engages him again and is kicking his arse, but Hulk jumps in and forces the Red Hulk to overheat.
His intro was not well done, but he became a better character later on. The reveal of who he really was took a while in the comics, and it helped pave the way for Red She-Hulk.
Overall though a pretty forgettable character IMHO. An interesting concept just wrecked by a very Mary Sue On Crack introduction.

At no point does Kate perform archery better than Hawkeye. The only thing she has on him at any point is the fact that she not battered and bruised from living for decades in a constant state of battle, but she's not the better shot and she's not an expert.
I will give you that Jane was using Mjolnir better (though it was clearly different as it was now pieces I guess) than Thor, but apparently as Love and Thunder decided that both weapons were now sentient that can be explained pretty easily. Regardless, the movie was so bad that it's hard to get mad at them giving Jane the Mary Sue treatment when that's just one of about a hundred sins of that movie.

Eh, Wanda had to be more powerful the moment they decided that she was the villain. If the hero is more powerful than the villain, or on par and has allies, then the fight is short. Even if they don't have the whole army of wizards there's still Wong; if Strange is stronger than Wanda and Wong is with him then she's not a challenge.
So if your argument is that Wanda should have never been the villain then I'll give you that, but if you're okay with her being the villain then she's got to be a threat and they can't all be like Civil War.

Nah dude. The hero getting his arse kicked and then having to come back from it only happens in DEI movies. I can't think of one movie besides
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
The Dark Knight Rises
Iron Man 2
Avengers
Avengers 2
Infinity War
Superman movies
Every Spiderman movie
Winter Soldier
maybe some more where the villain was stronger

well you didn't watch this movie, so why the hell are you posting so much in this thread?
and I know why, and don't need to hear your predictable response, but i'm sure you'll give it anyway.

Except it's not me, it's Disney who refuses to see things any other way.
Terrance Howard, Don Cheadle, Idris Elba, Chadwick Boseman, Anthony Mackie....
Oh, they'll dismiss Howard no worries, recast him with Cheadle, but when it comes to showring respect for Chadwick, they kill off his character? That that one act alone Disney Marvel should be called out, but no one wants to address THAT issue! Truth is, they KNEW he was dying, and used the passing of Chadwick to play into the movie for the sequel, and intentionally didn't recast him because they wanted to promote the M-SHE-U instead! And Chadwick KNEW this before he died. Talk about garbage humans running that studio!
But hell, take an already established Falcon character and 'upgrade' him to Captain status, in Black History Month! Ya Marvel! Sooooo diverse!

Didn't have to. Already said I've seen 25 MCU movies, many of them multiple times, and know the stories, characters.

Oh, that's right. You're a LIAR, that's why.
