I spotted 4 women, 2 Asians and a black officer in the 1st Order in this movie alone.
Fair enough...this should be able to be verified easily enough.

Supreme Commander of TFO is a black female.

All those movies sound awful, no wonder they didn’t use his ideas. Clones of Vader and Luke? Sounds terrible.

One of your earlier posts: “Why do we have forced diversity? Why can’t blacks and minorities make their own movies away from us? It’s becuase their stories suck! They have to copy the white man!”

Where is that picture from?

Odd, I can't seem to find where I said this.
And also odd, I didn't see the character you posted a picture of anywhere in TLJ.
ETA: If she is canon, why isn't she in the film?

That’s not the character in the movie, nor was that the statement I was responding to.
I was refrering to Bamafan

Sounds pretty familiar to me.
Now the rest of the story? That's just a plot device, nothing related to the overall story.
That's about 5% of the movie.
So it was 95% different than George Lucas' idea? Even though the article doesn't even explicitly say that idea was George Lucas's idea.

My bad. I saw the comment about the Supreme Leader of TFO being a black female then saw your picture.

Then you should probably reply to his post and not mine.

Why should she be? She’s certainly not necessary for the film to succeed or fail. Therefore, she is not.

Supreme Commander. Not supreme leader. Admiral Sloane.
I didn’t realize I was replying to you originally, that’s my mistake.

This will be a lot easier to do once the movie releases on blu Ray as I hardly have a large stash of screenshots of a movie not out yet.
Sloane has long been canon. Lucas established the concept of canon not being tied to the movies so maybe you should complain to him.

Why leave her out if she's canon? The resistance is shown as diverse. If TFO is also diverse, why not showcase that as well?
I mean Supreme Commander and Admiral would seem like she's a rather important part of TFO leadership...

There’s a lot they left out. It’s one of my complaints of the movie.
Where is the Eclipse? We know TFO has it. Thrawn was the last officer in charge of it.

That awful glow stick dance party also doesn’t exist thankfully despite it being a deleted scene.

Ah, but the issue here is why they left out what they did.
And why they focused on what they did.

I’m not talking about SLOANE lmao

Maybe it’s because Nazis are bad? I know America has forgotten this fact but I haven’t.
My grandfather burned 3 SS Troopers alive in a barn in Belgium and I’m damn proud of it.

Then why did you respond to me when I asked about that person with that comment?
Posted on 12/22/17 at 7:13 pm to Scruffy
I’m confused about what you are even talking about now. How can she be deleted from a movie she was never in the first place?
