Doing a 3rd rewatch and I turn on him almost instantly now. Episode 1 when he confronts the guy making fun of his kid in the clothing store.

At what point did you stop sympathizing with him for wanting to set his family up vs just being an ego maniac loving the power?

Fun spinoff…at what point did you start liking Jesse? Lol.

When he poisoned the kid. The fact that he actually thought he could talk Jesse down after that just showed how fricked he had become. He kept telling skyler i just need to find him and talk to him lol

Skyler's half-hearted birthday handy forever galvanized me with Walt.

No man should have to endure such a garbage marriage.

Letting that girl OD and drown on her own vomit wasn't a great thing to do.

Out of all the things and all the reasons that exist for us to turn on Walt, why this particular moment for you?

Hell if anything that is probably the moment that connects him most wirh your everyman average Joe dad, id think

I never did.

But when he killed Mike I couldn’t see straight. The maddest I have ever been at a tv show or movie.

SPOILER ALERT****

If I ever did, it was after killing Mike. But there was a sense that if he didn't take down Mike and his guys, he was going to prison. Not sure how Mike is going to keep that many people quiet especially that lawyer. Even if that was possible, it would be very expensive.

Honestly, S3 E10 "Fly". Up until that point it was easy to believe that Walt was doing everything he did for his family. It became obvious to me in this episode that his actions morphed into an ego trip and he was doing everything for himself to prove that he was the best chemist in the world. The obsession he showed in this episode highlighted his desire to prove that he was the true mastermind behind Gray Matter Tech. and that it was his driving force. He knew he sold himself short and he knew his new enterprise was his last chance to prove it.

The more I rewatch Breaking Bad, the earlier I start turning on Walt.
