Up until that point it was easy to believe that Walt was doing everything he did for his family.

By destroying other families via drugs? Drug producers and dealers deserve no sympathy at all.

So in terms of the OP:

quote:

When did you turn on Walt?

As soon as he started making drugs, so yeah right away.

It's fiction. Lighten up Francis.

It's both a reflection of ourselves and of culture, so while we can "be in the fantasy" of the show, good art - and we can all agree Breaking Bad is at the very least good - is going to give us some truths to measure.

I never did while watching BB. But I loathed him after finishing Better Call Saul. Vince Gilligan is a fantastic writer.

This.

Even after BB, I still liked Walt. I mean he progressively got worse but he tried to redeem himself somewhat. However, in retrospect, BCS really slowly fostered the idea that Walt was a cancer. Maybe it was Mike and how Mike saw him for what he was all along and how we really got attached to these characters even more so. But Walt essentially took down everyone.

TBH I guess I never really turned on Walt, just couldn’t help but still pull for him, but when he let jesse’s girlfriend die that definitely put him in a new lower light.

I clicked on this thread thinking it was about Walt Disney, the man or maybe the company.

I read the first 5-6 posts and have no idea who is being discussed.

Carry on.

ETA: As soon as I exited the post, I saw the entire title. That makes sense. I never saw a single scene from a single episode.

Once again, carry on!
