Same here Bronco. There was a time last season that I thought it would drag and not make in another, but this season has already killed that notion. Absolutely awesome, and as someone said, the way Nucky confronted Jimmy and the Commodore at the end of the episode was epic!

Let the battle begin!

Nucky showed some balls there for sure. The promise to "ruin" all of them and then the roundhouse kick he gave to the Commodore when he fricked with him about being the authority on children

Problem is Nucky can't back those promises up...YET. He shite on Torrio's good faith offering Capone came to deliver from Chicago. Couldn't cash in on the favor from the attorney general either. Dude is definitely burning some bridges with previous associates. Seems everyone smells blood and senses weakness with his pending voter fraud charge that he will certainly beat. shite's gonna be good!

And For the record...I HATE season long episode threads!

I have to say I agree. Any chance we can just do episode threads starting next week?

The only real problem I see with this show is it's portrayal of Capone. I have read numerous things about him and watched several documentaries and from what I can gather Capone was never a person to be pushed around as he was last season or talked down to in any way. Capone was a stocky guy and did nt hesitate to kill or beat anyone that stood in his way even those that were his higher ups. I do believe the portrayal of Luck Lucciano is more accurate than the portrayal of Capone as he was more of a snake hiding in the grass and would seek revenge in less overate ways than Capone.

He's feigning strength. Same reason he told Margaret to go get the things she returned. Classic case of fake it 'til ya make it. When he gets his swagger back, it's gonna be time for reckoning.

What does the Bee Do?

"Philadelphia gangsters may prove to be important middlemen for rival factions to get booze into and out of Atlantic City. Meanwhile, Nucky's lawyer hatches an idea to expand the scope of his election-fraud case."

Hopefully we see more clashes btw Nucky and his new enemies.

Jimmy's mom might not have a hand left after that.

I'm trying to figure out who the bigger mental case is... Van Alden or Jimmy's mom.

It was a stroke or at least that's what they said mid-episode. Either way you're right, the game's changed. And Jimmy's coming into his own.

What the frick is Chalky gonna do with that stick he's whittling? Ahhhh shite.

I fully expected Jimmy's mom to put a pillow over the Commodore's face. Didn't expect her to beat the shite out of him. Probably should've killed his arse, because you just know somebody's going to get wind of that.

I'm totally convinced Nucky's "out" in this voter-fraud shite is going to backfire. Big time.

Next week's previews =

Kind of a slow episode. Van whatever his name is is going to go apeshit on his pee-ons. Not sure why Marg is stealing all that cash.
