Harrow respects Nuck, same for chalky. Y'all are forgetting that harrow gets bloodthirsty. Don't left the soft shite these past few episodes fool you.

Okay so say he has Harrow, Eli, Chalky, and Capone (even though I think he stays way out of it because of his situation with Dean O'Banion).

Joe Masseria was one of the original Dons. He rolls pretty deep.

Nucky fricked unless something happens that forces Rothstein/Lucky/Meyer's hand.

It'll be the old school and beginnings of modern mafia + rothstein vs Nucky, chalky, eli, and the Midwestern gangsters of Capone, van Alden and Torio. Nuck is against the ropes, and now telling who gets smoked, but I hope Owen is one. He's a little bitch.

I don't think so. The whole Veteran thing runs deeper with Harrow. The foreshadowing of the first episode with Richard taking out the shooting gallery will come to fruition.

Poor Tommy

With all the shite going down with Nucky this is one thing that I took away from this episode. Maybe it's because I have a son his age, but that poor little fella needs some stability. Hoping Richard "kills em all" quoting Gyp, and runs off with him and his new lady.

Masseria told gyp his problems are his problems

Rothstein et al want to see where Masseria stands before they go to war with gyp. They will find out masseria is not backing gyp and they will go to war against gyp and back nucky

Even combined They all know they can't beat masseria

So Masseria told gyp if he wins his war with nucky he can become a general and not just a wildcard pain in his arse

Right, I don't think Nucky will be alone for long. I think Rothstein will probably cast his lot with him. For shite's sake Gyp tried to kill him too, and he already had one of his assassin's try to take down Gyp.

Masseria knows that gyp will eventually try to take him out as well, so masseria will tolerate gyp while gyp is making him money. But he won't go to war for him

Torrio has checked out and Capone Is about to take over. Torrio hasn't been the same since his trip to Italy. That is why he didn't come to Atl City

I was kind of surprised they didn't use that as an opportunity to show Capone as the new boss man. Him coming to Atlantic City would have made a statement-I don't think they'll be involved at all in Nucky's war. I think this comes down to Rothstein, Nucky, Chalky's men, and Eli.

It is an east coast thing, not a Chicago thing

Capone gets his Canadian booze off of Lake Michigan. He isn't doing business with Nucky now

By next episode, Nucky will get full clarity and won't be foggy in his thoughts. But make no mistake, Nucky is in BIG TROUBLE right now with all the people that he thought were his allies running out on him.

The scene with Masseria on the beach was telling to me. He told Gyp his problems were his alone. That it took time to prove himself to become a "General". I really want Nucky to get through this.

The Slater/Margaret situation is going to end in disaster for both of them.

In the grand scheme of things, Nucky could contact Sal Maranzano. In the history of the Mafia, Maranzano and Masseria were huge enemies of each other. Maranzano is Joe Masseria's biggest rival, he could get as much muscle as he needs if he gets his backing. We will have to see how this pans out, but the next 3 episodes should be great. I can't wait.

Another question....do they kill off Nucky and focus plot on NYC and Chicago?

ETA - Doubt that happens....just a thought.

I forsee Harrow taking out crazy Gyp, and then the rest going about their business as usual.

I sincerely doubt that. It's called "Boardwalk" Empire for a reason.

Nucky's gonna be ballin' once he gets the new plant up and running. Plus he has the protection of Carnegie.

Well we know Rothstein will be killed before Masseria because Rothstein was shot in 1928 and Luciano didn't kill Masseria until the early 30s. I like the show but there is really no suspense if you know your mob history.

I don't really mind knowing what happened in real life because I know they can change it on the show if they really wanted to. But, I found that last sentence of yours funny. You could have put an extra part to your sentence that said, "which you all now know. You're welcome for taking away any suspense that you may have had".
