Good. Though I just got around to watching Thor 4.

It wasn't terrible. It was very long and my kids found it boring though

Honest question. Is it worth the watch? Some people around me stated it was too long and felt more like a tribute film. More of a middle of the road MCU movie if anything. Does it progress the MCU storyline?

If potentially progresses the MCU storyline because it is likely that namor will return at some point.
It is definitely a movie more about grief and loss than superheroes though. And for a movie called Black panther it's weird that black panther doesn't even show up until 2 hours in

This is the #1 reason I watch most MCU films, lately.

which is exactly what they count on. Pavlov is proud

Is it a good MCU stand alone, or should I catch up on all the Disney+ MCU series first?

It's fairly stand alone. All you have to know is that black panther is dead.
It will help if you've seen the first one.

Main problem with this movie: Letitia Wright is no Chadwick Boseman. She fine in a supporting role, but shouldn't be the star of any movie. They should've figured out how to make Michael B. Jordan the new Black Panther or brought in someone else.

I hate the way they've depicted Namor and have no interest in the character Ironheart at all so I dunno when I'll get around to caring enough to watch this, but I guess I will eventually.

It’s not big on action or superheroes for an MCU movie, but it’s very good as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, and origin story for Namor

Yeah that was my problem too, but it’s hard to replicate the acting of Chadwick and Michael B Jordan. I do wish we somehow got more of Killmonger because he is easily a top 3 villain of the MCU

Well, Killmonger was right.

Laregely a forgettable snore festival with some cringey dialog and girl boss nonsense.

It was better than I expected . Not great. Better than IM 3 or DW.

Pass. Just like with most new Marvel stuff unfortunately. It's run its course for me.
Just re-watched Winter Soldier last night. That movie is still awesome.
