I said the same thing, if I'm James I would do my best to try and make this relationship work outside the house. It is literally impossible for him to do any better.

She's no genius but she's not dumb. She's been pretty knowledgable about a variety of subjects.
You have to remember English is actually her second language. Plus everyone says dumb shite like that every now and then

There's something about her that just doesn't click with me. She's attractive, and has a great disposition, but there's just something not there for me. She literally can't be separated from him for more than 10 mins before she is off hunting him down. I mean, he's the same way with her, but the fact that she's that attached to him is pretty crazy considering she should be so far out of his league that he probably couldn't even get her number in the real world.
With that said though, their personalities do line up perfectly. They have similar senses of humor, they can carry on a conversation about nothing for hours on end, and they seem to genuinely respect each other.
But distance will be a huge stumbling block for them once they get out of the house. NY/NJ & Texas are worlds apart. And they haven't been physical yet, so that could be another huge issue for James' chances. I still don't give them very good odds of making it long term once they're out of the game. But, regardless, I'm still rooting for those two kids.

English is her second language, so she gets a pass. Idioms in other languages are SUPER difficult to get a handle on. You basically have to be explained them one by one and then memorize each one. They do not come naturally, even if you know the language.

I don't think he'd have much of a shot if they were to just randomly meet somewhere and he started flirting with her. But if they spent a lot of time together, say in an office setting, she'd give him a shot.

Nothing Nat has done has made it seem like James has no chance with her outside the house. You can tell girls who are putting on a act on this show, they talk behind the guy back to the other girls saying how she doesn't like him like that or they go in the DR and make the guy look like a joke and just say they are using him for gameplay.
Nat has done none of this. If fact she has acted the opposite way even telling people when James is not around how much she likes him. Now I don't think there going to be Jeff and Jordan but you can tell they genuinely like each other.

i think alot has to do with being in the house and not seeing anyone from the outside world.
during two-a-days at UL, the only people on campus were the volleyball team, womens soccer team and us. during meal time the first couple of days it was just whatever, by the end of the two weeks, we all thought they were super models. (ETA: your mind starts playing tricks on you, and you convince yourself that some of the ones that arent pretty at all, start to look good)
james is the guy giving her the attention that no one else in the house was, so i think shes starting to cling to that attention more than she is clinging to him. outside of the house she probably gets a ton of attention from everyone, when that dried up being in the house, she hopped on it.

Anyone remember when Cody was going for Nicole in their season until she hooked to Hayden instead? Cody needed attention so bad he "showmanced" with Christine.
Nat and James are just a sweeter more innocent version of that. Nat probably would've chosen to get that attention from Vic but he was a butthole so he took himself out of contention.

Nat just playing James, I'm sure production encourages that sort of stuff to keep the viewers attached. They will be friends out of house, but nothing more.
James always seems to know what's going on in the game and the closer you stay to him the more intel you can get.
