Kick-arse or Guardians would be up there for me. I really did enjoy those two a lot.

I really liked the last X-Men movie too.


I like the first Spiderman too frick the haters. And of course Superman II.


Probably a couple of others that I'm either not thinking of or maybe underrating.

There are no crappy genres, just crappy films. Genre snobbery prevents so many people from enjoying so many great films. It's the one thing I love about the French New Wave: they rehabbed genre filmmaking.

Guardians edges out Watchmen for me. Still haven't seen DOFP but I read the comics when the storyline first ran.

agreed. batman begins is the best of that trilogy and for me one of the top 2 superhero movies ever, along with the first spiderman(I'm probably in the minority in this regard as well since i prefer spiderman over spiderman 2)
