Netflix did a great job of hooking us into a longterm mystery, just to cancel it like a month later before it had a chance to get legs. Stopped watching new Netflix shows after that.

I'll add the American version of Life On Mars w/ Jason O'Mara. Not sure how long it could've gone, but it was cancelled during production so they got out a rushed finale. Great cast and production.

Easy Street. A Sitcom starring Loni Anderson and featuring Jack Elam, Dana Ivey, and James Cromwell.

Premise: Loni Anderson is a former showgirl and blackjack dealer that marries a wealth guy and he dies leaving her to live in his huge mansion with her husbands sister and her husband (Dana Ivey and James Cromwell) that are contesting the will and want to get rid of her and take all the money. She invites her down at luck Uncle and his best friend (Jack Elam and Lee Weaver) to live with them in the mansion and hijinx ensue.

Following the Los Angeles Police Department, Cop Rock features an ensemble cast of police officers and detectives as they solve crimes across the city, with the series mixing musical and choreography throughout storylines and to introduce new characters.

I actually liked this show. It was the reason I began a career in law enforcement.

Great answer. Just rewatched this. It’s still great the second time.

Michelle Dockery’s rack in full display. Would have never guessed she had those as lady Mary

Go watch the original British version and Ashes to Ashes (the sequel series). Far superior.

BION, I didn't think of it

I watch mostly westerns these days. I almost mentioned Yancy Derringer, a 1958 show about a riverboat gambler in post-civil war NO. Or Law Of The Plainsman from 1959, about an Apache US marshal.

Hell I even considered Coronet Blue, another show about an amnesiac....
