Best non-romantic film chemistry: Nominate Lethal Wepaon 2

Basically, the on screen presence between and interaction with each other between two or multiple actors in a non-romantic way.
Don't think anything can top Lethal Wepaon and Glover and Mel. Add in Pesci about to hit his peak, and you simply do not see anything like this in films anymore.

I might go with the Rush Hour movies.

Clint Eastwood and Eli Wallach in the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Perfect combo of danger, humor, and odd affinity for each other.
No joke - Arnold Schwartzenegger and Gerry Lopez in Conan the Barbarian. The friendly energy was apparent right away. You knew they were ride or die for each other.
Capt. Kirk and Spock - multiple movies, but dead loyal to each other and an unbeatable team.
Honorable mention to Gimli and Legolas - not a lot of screen time for interaction, and it wasn’t unique to the movies… it’s in the books, too… but they have some great interactions and you can see the foundation of their friendship grow, which is really cool.

Crom laughs at this suggestion!
(in all seriousness, this scene is one of the best in the film. The segment of the two of them, free'd, and running from village to village stealing is some of the best parts of the movie. It feels straight out of LOTR. I feel Jackson used this film a lot as inspiration for the open action and running scenes at the beginning of Two Towers).

Psych did a “movie” so I nominate Shawn and Gus as the gold standard.

Indy and his dad in The Last Crusade
Brody, Hooper and Quint in Jaws. Sure they didn’t like each other but man…they played off each other beautifully.
