All good movies.
Other than Primal Fear (didn't see) and Sixth Sense (typical M. Night schlock, although this is his best work), I agree with you.
Not sure if "massive twist" applies to every one. Most I saw coming, to a degree - I have to say the very first time Usual Suspects and 12 Monkeys were surprising.
The best things about most of the films listed are the acting, directing and writing, not the "twist" (although that is sort of the key talking point about Usual Suspects and Sixth Sense, for example).

Ace Ventura when you find out Einhorn is Finkel

Psycho is the best, because you realize the protagonist ain't the protagonist no longer!

Kevin Costner plays a Navy Intel looking for a combination of Russian Spy and who murdered a woman. It is from the 80's and is definitely Cold War meets murder mystery. Really good flix.
Plus this was before Sean Young went all bat-shite crazy and she's hella hot in the movie....

some were mentioned, but i'll add.
Prestige
6th sense
planet of the apes
Fracture
wild things
atonement (eff that twist to hell)
Mist
American Psycho
outlier, the village. i really enjoy that movie. i know it's cool to hate on M Night, but i liked everything about that movie and like all his other movies, the answer is right there in front of you the whole time, but a slap in the face when it happens.

If you're talking about Tom Wilkinson, I don't think that was really a plot twist - it was an extension of his erratic and dangerous behavior.

frick The Mist was depression.
The novella ended on a bad note for the protagonists but damn the movie was a massive finger to them.

While I thought the movie was overrated...the twist in Atonement was completely unexpected. I could say the same thing about The Others. Not great movies, but really good plot twists.

what was the twist in donnie darko?
When you figure out that the movie really sucked

I think people still debate the ending of Eli, but not 100% sure.
What's the debate? I thought it was pretty straightforward.

I guess that he was trying to ensure his death since he wasn't in the bed when the jet engine crashed into it, hence throwing the universe out of whack?
Not sure I ever want to watch this again. I'd bet it doesn't hold up.

6 pages and no Truman Show?

I think both of those movies are great.
Most of my favorite twists have been mentioned: Chinatown, Arlington Road, No Way Out, Empire Strikes Back, Psycho... But I think my favorite "twist" is Zodiac, as the film slowly reveals itself to not be about the Zodiac killer at all, but the obsession with finding out who it is and how it ruins the persuers' lives.
And the best final twist is The Prestige, as it lingers on that final shot, forcing you to think of the implications of the twist, which is just horrifying.

Good twist, I guess, but this royally pissed me off after sitting in the theater for 8 hours to find it out.

If you went in not knowing, then there definitely was a twist.

It's not a "twist" in the traditional sense, but I'll add Memento to the list. The story structure is a mindfrick and the open ended answer to the Sammy Jankis identity keep you thinking about the movie well after the credits roll.
