Yeah. She lists herself as 5'7" and 130 lbs. Isn't that about where a female of that height and weight should be?

You know people inflate those numbers. You need to see how she performs at the Bond Girl Combine to be sure.

I was coming here to say that.

And she was a badass with that crossbow

Cannot argue with that. One of those moments where you're stunned by an actress' beauty.

Tracy should be at the top, much less on the best list.
She has always been one of my favorites, too. Less superficially-flashy than some, but absolutely beautiful nonetheless. And a well-written, complex character.

And extra points for career longevity. Fifty years later, she was one of the most-interesting characters on Game of Thrones.

Beautiful girl, with acting skills that matched Tanya Roberts.

Little-known fact. Those were not her legs in the movie poster.

That film can also claim one of the worst all-time Bond girls.

Craig's Casino Royale is not a Bond movie?

WTF is this shite? It is one of, if not the, best Bond movies. It shows how wet behind the ears Bond became the classic Bond we know.

It is a perfect Bond movie. Great villains, great women, great cars, etc., but also had solid character development and plot. The score and editing was strong, the pacing was very good.

I'm not sure why you think this isn't a Bond movie.

Probably a fan of the Roger Moore films.

The fact that "Vesper" wasn't a one and done Bond girl is a prime example of why the Craig movies aren't true Bond films. Hell, Bond got married in OHMSS and they only mentioned that in one other Bond film, with a visual.

She's not even the hottest Vesper.

Three, that I remember. License to Kill (Felix to wife, “He was married once”), Spy Who Loved Me (mention in Russian briefing), and For Your Eyes Only (visiting grave), at a minimum. There may be others.

You can't compare quick asides and checklist mentions of his being married (usually without saying her name except for the gravestone scene) to Craig's Vesper being an ongoing character in Craig's films.

Let us take a moment to examine it.
- no Q (or R or whatever you want to call him)

-bond is not smooth during most of the movie there by lacking a major piece of the character

-bond may as well be British Jason Bourne. Shaky cam abounds and we have an emotional bond who rather than being the calm cold of connery is just an edge Lord

-villain sucks. He is made to look like a weakling by people that are barely in the movie when they surprise him in his hotel room. This in turn makes Bond look even more pathetic, as he is captured by him, fails to escape and kill the bad guy, and is instead saved by who knows what group till film 4. Very unbondlike

-eva green plays the role well, but I do not like the character. She back stabs bond and then kills herself and refuses to let him save her because, "they" might go after him if she lives, even though they probably will anyway and he most certainly will go after this ominous "them". Failing to save the girl is also very unBond like

Seems to be missing some major elements that a Bond film is supposed to have.
I understand it was a reboot, but I do not feel it was needed. Bond made it through a view to a kill without a full reboot, die another day does not provide an excuse for this film. It fails to be a Bond film on so many levels that it can not make the top 10 even.

I did not say it was the same.

You said “they only mentioned that in one other Bond film, with a visual,” and that statement was not accurate.

Say what?

He seduces the villain's woman early in the movie and gets her killed because of it.

The guy bleeds from his eye, is a master poker player, and swings a knotted rope at Bond's testicles after flipping his Aston Martin and taking him prisoner. He's a great villain.

This is when Bond becomes Bond. That is the point of the movie. He becomes the callous womanizer after that and kills the guy he believes responsible.

It is basically an origin story and it does a fantastic job of being one.

Say what?

Bond blows up an embassy after parkouring through a city and fails to take the bomb maker alive. He also destroys a bathroom at the beginning of the movie fighting someone. I understand it is to show how brutal a killer he is, but why not just shoot him? His first two kills in the actual book were much smoother. No excuse

quote:

The guy bleeds from his eye,

This does not make him intimidating. Dude is surprised by some people he owes money to and doesn't try to stop them from taking his girl friends arm because he is so afraid of them. Why should bond be scared of him?

I understand it's a reboot but a reboot was not needed. How many movies were there up till then without a reboot? 20 or So? Bond made it through all those just fine.

Famke Janssen is my favorite. She may have been a villain and not as gorgeous as some but she was damn sexy..

Shitty opinions are shitty opinions, especially when it comes to Eva and Casino Royale.
