Knowing how our own gov will bend and outright fabricate stories, after 25 years I can freely admit I don't buy the standard version of events. Not that I wholly did in the 1st place, but since then, I've come to question a great deal more.

United 93. Basically a docudrama that gets as close you can get to being a documentary without actually being one.

I’ve never been one of those building seven types and especially rejected the demolition nonsense of buildings 1 and 2. It’s just basic physics, that the building hit lower down would be falling first before the other one because of where the planes impacted. But there’s a whole boatload of other stuff that doesn’t add up.

It aired one time on ABC for the 5 year anniversary. A great mini-series with Harvey Keitel that showed the build up to 9/11 on both sides how the US dropped the ball during the Clinton Admin.
The Clintons had it removed from distribution. Only way to watch is a pirated version on YouTube.

I've always hated the conspiracy theorists and 9/11 Truthers. Probably because all my interactions with them were so terrible.
I've come around somewhat to realizing that a lot of what we've been told is a lie.
But I'm not going to believe that there were no planes because they were really holograms, and that it was a controlled demolition, and something about Thermite being explained to me by someone who doesn't understand what Thermite does. Because none of that fits reality.
Now if you tell me that factions of our government knew it was going to happen, and in some way facilitated it, then yeah, I'll listen.

Came in to post this. If you haven't seen this documentary i recommend it. I've seen it a few times now, and similar to the Steve Gleason documentary, it's a tough watch every time. For the generation that can't remember this day bc they were so young, or for the generation of young adults now that weren't born yet on 9/11/01, I believe this is a documentary of that day that should be a must watch.

If you're open to miniseries (dramatization) Looming Tower is probably my overall favorite and I read/watch everything on 9/11. Frontline's John O'Neill piece (The Man Who Knew - I think), is probably my favorite documentary piece.
But my interest has always been more toward the intel failures/hijacker logistics.

"9/11: Escape From the Towers"
Each World Trade Center tower consisted of 110 floors. Each floor has a story. In this two-hour special, survivors from two of those floors, many speaking publicly for the first time, tell their stories.
This one as well, "26th Street Garage: The FBI's Untold Story of 9/11" on Paramount +
Follows the story of ingenuity, teamwork and determination of the FBI in desperate moments after the 9/11 attacks, when they had to evacuate their New York headquarters, and transformed a greasy automotive garage into a new command center.
