So you knew about how the whole time travel thing would play out and his daughter being on her death bed when he returned. And that Michael Caine was lying the whole time, And that to return he would have to leave the spacecraft and end up falling thru a black hole? And that Anne Hathaway would end up being the one to find the suitable planet? You're a damn genius

I knew he was the "ghost" and that due to time travel he would end up saving himself, yes. Pretty easy to be honest. Nolan has gotten to cute and way too impressed with himself.

How Warner can get DC so right on tv yet so wrong in film confuses me.

It's much easier to make good animated films.

And I'm sure you are one of those people that thought Interstellar was a great film.

It was Ann Hathaway's love speech that did it for me. Matt Damons character arch. There was also something science related that really bothered me.

It wasn't something I didn't understand. I'm pretty good with astronomy principles. It was something the movie did that was kinda bs. But I can't remember what. Something about relativity.

The absence of color makes this plausible.

It's all good, I think DC flavor would make it last better int he long run. Since the first Avengers movie came out. I only ever watched it in theater once and didn not bother to rewatch it again. I have watched Man of Steel a few times now.

Age of Ultron once in the theater and now anticipating Civil War. Dawn of Justice, have not seen but I will give it a shot.

I go off of user reviews anyway. Critics try too hard sometimes.

This is how I view the tomato score

User = Fresh
Critic = Rotten

Popcorn flick that isn't artsy but fun to watch

User = Rotten
Critic = Fresh

Artsy and I am usually not interested

User = Fresh > 80
Critic = Fresh > 75

Good overall movie

Does this make you a Nolan apologist? I came to the same conclusion after wasting $30 to go see Inception. His stories are so ambitious that they tend to crumble under their own weight. Pretty much every movie since The Dark Knight has been a big arse bowl of meh.

Does anyone really care about this?

Look...I have no idea how good this movie will ultimately be...to me, and honestly that's the only thing anyone should actually care about. Do YOU enjoy the movie? Unless you are financially or emotionally tied to the film in some way, the only reason I could see worrying about what everyone else seems to think about it is if the movie ultimately does so badly that they scrap the whole enterprise and shelve what could be a really fun ride with some of comic's most iconic characters. Or...do you only feel comfortable liking what everyone else also likes? Never mind...any cursory look at this or the OT where it's nonstop asking what others think about every decision they make answers this question.

There are movies I agree with critics about...others I don't. Despite it's flaws, I liked MoS. Yep...I'd have changed some things, but I'm not going to be pissed at a movie for what it wasn't, as that seems a waste of effort on my part. I'm sure that despite whatever flaws are in this movie, I'll ultimately like much of it. I personally don't go to movies (or listen to music, go to restaurants, etc) with the expectation of being disappointed and waiting for the event to change my mind. That seems ultimately like a recipe for being pissed most of the time. Oddly, I like being entertained, so as long as the movie does that in any real way...boom, I'm happy. The way guys are yapping about the reviews of this movie you'd think people look forward to being upset more than happy...

I'm still excited to go see it with my wife and boys this Saturday, as they've been looking forward to it for a year. Your mileage may vary...

I don't give two fricks what the critics think, Batman is in this and I will watch just for him.

I admit that I'm not much of a Superman fan so his parts don't really interest me.

I don't have on opinion on Snyder, I don't hate or love him. I did enjoy Watchmen and 300 so I have no reason to bash Snyder.

My tickets are purchased and my body is ready, I'M BATMAN!

Even as a batman fan I was already on the fence about the movie because of the previews. Yes I care about what the critics say because I am much less likely to pay for it now.
