I don’t think they’re going to give it to us. Hype was reaching a fever pitch before this trailer came out. This will subdue it until February when people will start clamoring for more and they’ll likely release a very similar trailer to this one but will have a few more heavy lines and show a little action and end with a Captain Marvel reveal at the end of it. Which will build hype for both films.

But that will likely be it. I don’t think Marvel is going to give us much. There’s so much mystery surrounding the plot and how they’ll resurrect everyone, and I think they want to hold on to that mystery

So instead of dying and after they save the day Steve decides to go back to the 40’s and have the life with Peggy he was cheated out of. But that might open pandora’s Box in messing with the timeline.

They can absolutely frame this as Thanos is the good guy who is settling into retirement and bad guys are trying to ruin everything, so he has to suit up one more time to save the universe.

How bad arse would it be if Thanos noticed a disturbance or something to his perfect balance and reluctantly has to suit up showing the scarecrow now empty.

We've had the time stone for a while now and the quantum realm can do the same type of things, too. It's comics and movies. Pandora's Box doesn't exist with regard to consistency.

Well, he still has the gauntlet on in the trailer, so one can make the logical assumption that he can indeed do that.

You’d think he’d take it off? Is it welded to his arm now? Can he even fricking use that arm?

I want them to take down a healthy Thanos. Not some weakened pussy Thanos, even if he can’t use the stones he should be able to heal himself

Watch the last shots of Infinity War again. His entire arm is fricked.

He used the power of EVERYTHING. There should be consequences.

think the title does tell you that strange knew what he was doing giving the time stone up for Tony. They were always going to lose that battle on Titan, the writers have even confirmed that had they gotten the glove off they still would have lost.

I think they also dropped a subtle hint about professor hulk

quote:

Joe Russo says it wasn’t the Infinity Stones that beat Hulk, that was all Thanos.

“I would say that he’s just that powerful,” said Joe Russo. “You didn’t see him actively use the Power Stone in the fight. I think ultimately the way we looked at that fight and the way we talked about it with our stunt team when we were executing it was Hulk is obviously very powerful but he’s a little mindless in his fighting style. It’s aggressive. It’s pummeling. Thanos is the Genghis Khan of the universe. He’s a very skilled fighter and equally as strong. So when you put those two up against each other, the more skilled fighter is going to win. Which is why Hulk has a moment where he overpowers Thanos, but ultimately Thanos is smarter.

My first thought was ocean prison, but other then that I dunno. I’m guessing he stuck around on Earth after IW, with the clothes he’s wearing. Not like there’s an Asgard to go to

So there's a mechanical on/off switch inside the helmet near the cheek? Seems like poor engineering in a suit that you are pulling massive G loads while executing aggressive aerial maneuvers. Not to mention hand to hand combat. Be pretty inconvenient to have your face slam into that side of the helmet at 33,000 feet in the middle of a 7G turn. Or have someone keep bashing you in the right side of your face and compress the switch against your cheekbone.

Strange has already seen Avengers 4 and knew the subtitle.
