No one really likes Ant-Man anyway.

The Paul Rudd movie looks to change that.

I haven't heard anything from the fanboys? Why would this be an issue?

I'd probably take issue if they did, it doesn't fit the world.

Well they are coming out with an ant-man movie, so it could have been adjusted properly if I had to guess....you know? But I dont really have an issue with it.

Marvel can do no wrong and everything DC does sucks. That's the extent of their criticism.

I thought the movie was a bit of a letdown. Was hoping for more from Ultron.

I think it works better this way for setting up civil war

I have friends that took great issue with Pym not creating Ultron. I have similar issues with the movie Vision's origin. It's a small burden of being a comic fan. Makes these movies even further from perfection.

typical lazy Marvel movie. Could have done so much more with Ultron than they did. Hulk v Iron Man was the only cool part of the movie.

Near the end I was waiting for a shot of where all those voices outside were coming from while Fury and Nat were talking...

Got to see it this afternoon.

I thought it was very good. I enjoyed it a lot. On the things I was worried about I thought they presented them well - mainly Hawkeye being married with children and the Banner/Natasha romance. They were both carried out well so they didn't bother me at all.

Loved Cap actually being able to nudge Thor's hammer a smidge and the look on Thor's face. And loved Cap's take on the Vision being able to wield it - if you put in an elevator and it goes up that doesn't mean the elevator is worthy.

I did think that some of the action scenes were dragged out a bit too much - especially the street scene. And though I didn't mind Stark instead of Pym being responsible for Ultron, I do wish they would have explained a little more how Ultron seemed to have some of Stark's behaviors/characteristics.

Oh, and I wasn't sure how Widow was able to calm Hulk down. Was that just her soothing him or was she using some kind of substance on him?

When I read of the hour plus extra footage(including Loki), I imagine that if they ever did do a "directors cut"(which Marvel has yet to do) the movie would be better.

I still give it an 8/10.

There was a lot of "world building" that this movie did to establish the state of the MCU...it almost felt like they needed another movie before AoU just to build.

I thought that was basically her being a calming influence b/c he likes her. It's similar to how Betty Ross can calm him down.

Speaking of her, should we just go ahead and assume pretty much everyone that was in The Incredible Hulk is gone forever?

Gen. Ross was recently rumored to be on the set of Civil War or something.

It was funny that Veronica was the stick, and Black Widow was "Betty"(as in Ross) the carrot.

Ive been hoping they circle back around to TIH's supporting characters (like Dr.Samson).

Quicksilver is dead-dead. which sucks for the Inhumans movie-maybe Crystal isn't in the Inhumans afterall? Also, since I saw the news that Olsen was signed up for Cap 3 without Taylor-Johnson I kind of guessed he was going to die.

For all the build up Ultron got leading to the release and how badass he looked, he seemed pretty damn weak. Did he even really beat anyone's arse?

just saw it a couple hours ago. good flick, set up all manner of MCU stuff which has been touched on. my biggest issue/ question was why Vision, Thor and Iron Man let Ultron up toward the end when they clearly had him on the ropes? he was all but done, don't stop shooting. they got Pietro killed.

Not really, but the idea with Ultron (and I think his influence will be long reaching in some ways) is that if he is ever fully powered up then it's end times...and he did almost wipe out the human race.

So who was the secret female character that they said would make a brief appearance in the movie. I must've flat out missed her. Surely they weren't talking about Hill.

Might just be Clint's wife. No one knew he even had one.

I was hoping for She-Hulk, personally. But whatever.

Considering the mechanism that brought him down was Veronica, not likely.
