It’s weird you say that. I enjoyed JW2 more than JW1, though I do admit the first is the better “movie” I’ve watched JW2 more and enjoy it more.

And you need a counting device. A clicker of some sort. Trust me on that.
I don't expect the 3rd one to match up to the first one, because you could copy the theme and exceed the carnage, but you just can't replicate the bizarre shock of seeing it the first time around. It's really more than just an action film. Kinda hard to explain.

I put John Wick 1 high, high on my list of action movies. John Wick 2 is quite good and expands the world, and while it has its moments, it is not as good as John Wick 1. John Wick 3 is, by all accounts, better than 2 and on par with 1. So, I plan on seeing it as soon as I can.
If you hate John Wick, I don't know how you like other action movies. It is a pure movie, with a well thought out plot, a wide world all its own, and great turns by Keanu and the supporting cast, particularly McShane.

Checked it out. It was decent enough and Mads was a beast in parts but IMO it was much slower paced than the Wick movies. The ending w/the final big bad was lame. FWIW I'd probably watch the the sequel they blatantly set up. Maybe it got enough viewers on Netflix to warrant one but I doubt it would have had it been a theatrical release.
