In a somewhat related subject, Warner Brothers unveiled the name of the shared DC universe. DCEU was what fans labeled it, but it was never official.

It is WODC - Wads of Disappointing Content

....

I’m sorry, I misspoke. It’s WODC - Worlds of DC

This really looks entertaining, not the murky melodrama DC started out with.

Still wondering back to MoS, they said the Kryptonian ship was what, 30K yrs old?
Were the Olympians (Zeus etc) really Kryptonians posing as gods? Does Superman know the full extent of his power? Are Aquaman and Diana half-Kryptonian?
That little bit in MoS, and then the later Olympian actions fighting off Steppenwolf in JL have me wondering, how does this tie together, if at all.

That trailer looked great and as someone who will fight for Marvel in the Great War. Let DC have this one for a little bit.

Or Wakanda is basically Marvels Atlanta(S)

I love both characters. They're both kings with family problems and succession issues. Room for all

Am I the only who think the dude cast as Aquaman has zero charisma? I honestly no interest in this movie based on him alone.

You might be; Mamoa has always been pretty charismatic onscreen, going back to his Stargate-Atlantis days.

The Red Road is his best work. That was such a great show that no one saw because it was on Sundance.

That trailer looked great honestly. I'm genuinely excited for this movie.

A Mamoa/Gadot team-up movie would result in a ton of couples going straight home from the theater to have hard, warrior sex.

Looking at the trailer again and after seeing and hearing Yahya Abdul Mateen speak at the panel... I think Black Manta is going to be the runaway breakout of this film even though he's a secondary villain...leading him to right to the Legion of Doom-and he was born in New Orleans...

I think learning about the underwater world is interesting, but this movie doesn't look interesting to me.

Before the trailers i would have said i can't wait for Aquaman, could care less about Shazam. After the trailers, it's the exact opposite.

So villainous he'll use the race card just to frick with Aquaman not because he actually cares one way or another.

Edit: A spiteboner so hard for Aquaman that I'm surprised a story hasn't been written about him getting AIDS to give it to Mera so that he can reveal two doses of a cure, but it removes her ability to breathe and gives them both cancer. Then after he convinces Aquaman to forgive him on his death bed, he presents the cure to their cancer. Leaps out the glass bubble shouting about enjoying your time with your sons.

Turns out mantas whole plan besides making Aquaman miserable was to alter Mera to pop out a kid Everytime Arthur hit that so he could have more to kill and harass him about.

Such is Black Manta. No romance, no mirror,no rivalry. Maybe it's because the pirate rape, maybe the shipwreck, maybe he lost his crew, maybe it's because Aquaman killed his das, aybe it's autism. Nope all lies, Black Manta just hates and only let's Aquaman live so that he can continue his hate.

Thor Ragnarok says hello and laughs at you in an unnaturally high pitched voice. While it did take me out of Ragnarok a few times- they made up for it in spades with the quality of them in Infinity War.

Not sure why Ragnarok is held in such high regard. Good movie. Terrible Thor movie. Since when does the God of Thunder scream like a 12 year old girl in a haunted house before he meets Goldblum? The CGI was cartoony, at best. In Ragnarok, Thor is a sniveling little girl. The next movie he drives right through Thanos' full gauntlet power blast to plant Stormbreaker in Thanos' body.
