They've released one of these videos for each arc. Check them all out.
That was awesome. Really makes me want to watch Rogue One again.
They've really timed everything out in this show so well. They couldn't just introduce K2SO at the very end and expect them to be besties in Rogue One so they rightly did it a year before those events.
It did kill my theory of Bee being reprogrammed into K2SO. I hope we get to see him one last time before the end of the show, but it's not looking like it. Maybe that planet is where Bix goes back to and reunites with him.

but can't prove anything
Do they even have to? They orchestrated Ghorman how they wanted it to go. Had the media on site spewing their narrative when the evidence to the contrary was right in front of them. Syril said in episode 4, the ISB just does what it wants. Because the Empire does what it wants.
Well, they did seize the Ghorman senator, but remember: it was a shock in Star Wars (ANH for the younger group) when they dissolved the Senate. We're about a year out from that.

or she does come back to the rebellion and ends up being killed.
I don't think she left the Rebellion - she just left Cassion so she's not a distraction from The Cause.
She shipped off to some other part of the rebellion.

I'm wondering how Luthen's story ends. Syril had his big ending with Cassian after they've been linked the entire show. I'm guessing Dedra and Luthen have a big confrontation soon since Luthen (Axis) was her white whale throughout the show.

So what does everyone think of one of Lonnie's agents being sent to arrest Mon? We didn't see him at all in this arc. Did he turn or was she operating outside of his knowledge?
How do you think Luthen found out?

Duh. Nevermind. I guess that's the best he could do, go along with the ISB but let Luthen know.
ETA Gilroy was on The Watch (Ringer pod) and talked about how this particular arc was drastically changed because of budget reasons. I think this shows with the fact that we didn't have a scene or two with Lonnie keeping Luthen informed, and Wilmon just showing up to the safe house injured when he was fine when Cassian left him on Ghorman. They probably wanted to shoot more battle scenes but couldn't make it work.

That's kind of Lonnie's shtick though. He has so much value as an insider that it's not worth sacrificing that to actually try to manipulate anything from the inside. The ISB is incredibly intelligent, well resourced, and paranoid that they would have caught on pretty quick if he was trying to use his position to operationally help the rebellion.

Holy shite that was an amazing night of television. Every episode was outstanding
I was down to watch 3 more episodes right after i finished if they were already out
It really is great to see the heart and soul of the rebellion play out and the sacrifices made.

I literally felt an ache in my chest for Cassian at the end of E9. He's truly giving everything (or it's being taken away) for the rebellion.

well Disney had to do Disney things to check some of their stupid boxes.[/quote]such as?
This show is futuristic fantasy, but up to now it's all been real people, everyday people moving things. Not magical Force users. I'd like it to stay that way. Let them work it out themselves

man i'm disappointed that wasn't a force choke that was in the trailer. Was hoping to see just a glimpse of Vader.

it's a common theme on this site. everyone wants to act like they are smarter than/superior to the people actually making the shows. they need something to point out they couldve done better
just watching a show and not complaining about some aspect is unfathomable
It reminds me of this clip from Matt Damon asking Steven Spielberg if they should do another take on a scene from Saving Private Ryan

I don't know what the hell that was. I took Cassian's advice and didn't pay attention to what the kook was talking about

I'd have to find the article again, but I just read an interview with Adria Arjona, and she basically confirms that was it for her this season. Gilroy gave her a decent heads up that was how they were going to give Bix her goodbye.

Something I missed, but who was the guy trying to big dick Cassian about leaving Yavin abruptly and without pledging his loyalty?
Posted on 5/7/25 at 5:52 pm to TigerFanatic99
General Draven, he was in Rogue One. When Cassian went with Jyn to find her father, Draven told him to forget about brining Galen back and gave orders to kill him.

Thanks. I don't know why but I kept thinking that was Jan Doddona.

There was one thing I kind of rolled my eyes at with episode 9, when Vel recognized the blaster that belonged to Meslshi. She had Skeen inspect Cassian's belongings at the beginning of his time on Aldhani, and maybe say that blaster once, probably didn't think a lot about it. I highly doubt she would have recognized it as that specific blaster when she was inspecting the weapons.
Probably just a fun way to reintroduce Melshi.

Had to Google who that was. Was a bad recasting job if that was the case

Those episodes were incredible. I downloaded 8 and 9 to watch again on a flight.
A very fitting end for Syril. I was surprised how much I felt for him when it was all said and done. I even felt bad for his mother.
The Ghorman massacre was brutal. The bellhop went out like a champ and the crying kid redeemed himself by incapacitating K2.
Mothma’s speech and escape were so well done. I was interested to see how they would incorporate existing details of her escape from Rebels and they did it perfectly. The transfer to Gold Squadron was a nice nod.
It’s pretty funny to think right before this speech in Rebels she watched Cassian shoot two people right in front of her. Speaking of, I think the driver was having a little crisis of faith. Too bad Cassian doesn’t take any chances.
Only 3 episodes left. I think Lonni finds out about Galen and the Death Star, gets burned getting the info to Luthen, and Luthen gets burned getting it to the Rebellion/Cassian.
