Andi MacDowell was Hot in 1992 Box Office Flop - Ruby Cairo (aka Deception)

This movie was filmed at a number of exotic locations: Vera Cruz, Mexico, Athens, Berlin, Cairo and Giza. Despite Andi's presence, the movie flopped. Production costs were in excess of $24M, while box office receipts were only a little above $600k. It had a very predictable plot. It was only 99¢ on Prime. (I have a special relationship with Andi MacDowell, which I won't bore you with today.)
