Well one question has been answered. Looks like Sabine does have some real level of Force sensitivity. Was able to feel ahsoka reaching out for her, even though she couldn’t really tell what was happening.

can't argue that one. I would say that is the major flaw of this show. But it's also why most people are really liking this show right now, at least those of us that enjoyed Rebels.
You didn't need any other knowledge to enjoy Andor and the Mandalorian. It helped, but it didn't matter much. You really kind of do need to have a general understanding of what happened in Rebels to know what's going on here.

I think they've done a really good job of creating the fear of Thrawn in this show, and you didn't need to see Rebels to get that from this show. I"m not sure why anyone other than people who liked Rebels would care about Ezra. For me, he's who i care about the most on this show, as well as Ahsoka. Ezra is such an important character in the galaxy at this time, just like Ahsoka is as well as Luke obviously. Just further pisses me off what happened in those shitty movies.

to get back to talking about this show, I can't help but notice how often Ezra has said he's ready to go home. I have a feeling he's not going home, as in back to Lothal, or even that galaxy.

I agree with many going to be some huge cliffhangers since time is running out for season one.

Overall and this may not be a popular take but I expected more from Ashoka. IN CW she always had emotion driving her and maybe she has matured and understand it can be a downfall but her character seems a little bland.

Sabine the story seems to be more focused around her than anyone else. Al right character but not the most exciting story arc in the show.

Ezra disappointed like others not using a lightsaber but they do have the droid with them that has helped most of the Jedi we know build one.

Baylan best character in the season so far. Based on his comments about finding balance I am starting to think him bringing Sabine, which he knew would bring Ashoka and finding Ezra may be him trying to eliminate both the Jedi and Empire at the same time. It is pretty obvious he never attended to leave the planet so I would not be surprised he idea of finding balance was both needed to be eliminated. He reminds me when Anakin started questioning the Jedi n CW. That he recognizes balance may not happen with Jedi involved. Really curious to see how story ends is.

Shin, I think is troubled that they were called back from the fight. I will not be surprised she either confronts Thrawn and dies at the hands of the mothers who do not like Jedi or seem to trust her or she kills Baylon in the end.

I think the end will actually show Thrawn returning to the galaxy and the big reveal is we find out what or who is in the cargo/coffins. My assumptions are the 4 good guys somehow hitch a ride back with Thrawn and discover the cargo or prevent all his cargo from being loaded and to see what it is inside.

Curious if the mothers return with Thrawn. If he needs their magic to raise the dead than yes but he uses people strategically and then discards them if they can be a hinderance.

I also would not be surprised to see Luke in the next season because the night sisters (Great Mothers) were force sensitve, hence where Darth Maul came from.

TBH, I prefer the possibilities for further stories if they end up stuck in this galaxy since we know what happens in the Skywalker galaxy.

That is not Star Wars, that is a random sci-fi show. Disney screwed one galaxy so they are going to just create another one to screw up.

I think a lot of us did. As I and others have pointed out though when you introduce a half dozen other characters and another half dozen bad guys, there’s no room for anyone’s character to shine, certainly not in the short time allotted. This show really needed to focus in on Ahsoka and Baylan. Thrawn and Ezra should have been saved until season 2. It certainly didn’t need to waste half the season trying to develop a Sabine and Ezra storyline.

My biggest problem with Ahsoka is that it's Obi-Wan in that it feels like a movie adapted to fit into a TV series. There's not enough plot to justify eight episodes.

As long as Kennedy is in charge, Luke is all but dead.

She was a teenage girl during Clone Wars. Of course she was driven by emotion.

She's in her mid 40's and lived through 2 galactic wars by the timeline of this series.

the no name Senator
Hamato Xiono

Father of Kaz, the main protagonist from the animated series Resistance (not a good show BTW, way too geared towards young kids). In that show, the senator wasn't a bad guy...he just had his head in the sand about the emerging threat of the First Order until it was too late. Kind of how he has his head in the sand about Hera warning of Thrawn's return.

Seriously, in 7 episodes we have not learned anything about the overall goals and narratives of our antagonist.
Which antagonist? Thrawn...wants to return to the Star Wars galaxy and rebuild the Empire. Shin wants power in the new Empire. Baylon is the one who's goals aren't clear. Which is all fine if it means they're going to leave us on a cliffhanger after next week's finale and have at least another whole season to look forward too. Sucks that the actor who plays Baylon won't be around if his character's story was meant to continue beyond this season.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Night Sisters end up being responsible for resurrecting Palpatine.

Spot on. Rebels is Filoni's baby and this is the next step. Tough to follow without having watched that

I loved Thrawn being shocked when he found out who Ahsoka's master was. Imo that was a nod to the Thrawn canon novels.

For those that haven't read the books, Thrawn first meets Jedi Knight Anakin and helps him save Padme. In another book after joining the Empire, he works with Vader to stop a threat to the construction of the Death Star. When joining the Empire, Thrawn is told Anakin was killed but figures out who Vader really is.

So he is one of the very few (and still alive) to know well both Anakin and Vader. He realizes that Anakin's padawan would be someone to be reckoned with.

Agreed too bad not the same for Galadriel in the Amazon series.

My issue overall with Ashoka is it feels like the last season of Mando. Both are suppose to be the stars on their show but they feel supporting roles

I can't seem to recall seeing any movies set after Return of the Jedi. It's like they have been erased from my memory.

They are rumors, just like any Indiana Jones movie after The Last Crusade.

No mention of C3-PO yet? Kinda sad he was the highlight of this episode

While C-3PO was not nearly the highlight of the episode it was hilarious to see him pull the "don't you know who I am" card on the guards.

I found some humor in the fact he turned down using Sabine's blaster saying "he had the Force" but when the Stormtroopers showed up he picked up one of their blasters real fast.

I liked how pissed Chopper got when Xiono dismissed C-3PO as just some droid.

While he's clearly had his head up his arse this entire time having him act like C-3PO, who would surely be famous in the New Republic as one of the two most important droids to have been in the rebellion, was a nobody was a good way to show just how completely out of touch he is w/everything around him.

Or, he sneaks onto the chimera in a storm trooper outfit, finds Canaans lightsaber that Thrawn has kept, and maybe Canaan (Freddie Prince Jr) has a WBW scene where he passes his lightsaber down to Ezra.
