Ryan Reynolds basically plays himself in every film.

I was going to say Denzel to a degree.
Love him but all of his roles are similar.

Don’t know if I agree with Sandler or Vince Vaughan.

Keanu Reeves plays the same wooden guy named John in 80% of his movies and I still will watch every single one.

The members of Nickelback disagree

It's funny how everyone claims to hate Nickleback yet they sold millions of records and made umpteen bajillion dollars doing it. Somebody made them rich and famous. Just admit it, you love Nickleback, they're a decent band.

I agree they get too much hate. Acting like you hate them just became trendy for some reason.

No, they are the worst mainstream rock band in the last 25 years and it's not even close

George Clooney deserves a mention here.

Not if you’ve seen him in O Brother Where Art Though.

But I’ll offer up a similar one that may invite a difference of opinion. Julia Roberts.

Yes, but he gets a pass because everyone likes Ryan Reynolds

wait, who doesn't like Jason Statham? He plays the same role in every film, and he does it spectacularly.

I love him, but Jeff Goldblum is pretty much the same guy in every movie.

I brought his name up in a similar thread and got downvoted immediately.

The guy is just weird to me and has one monotone sounding line delivery in every movie I've seen him in.

The Duke - John Wayne

Love his movies, but yeah, he's pretty much the same "Riding off into the sunset" hero in every movie he's been in.

His worst career move was playing the Mongol warrior Genghis Khan in "The Conqueror" in 1956.

Not only was it a bad movie, but a lot of the people who shot and acted in that film came down with various forms of cancer. Of the roughly 220 crew and cast members, 46 died from the disease while 91 of them eventually developed cancer in one form or another.

The site used to film the movie was a testing ground for nuclear warheads and radiation is blamed for that many cancer cases.
