Never expected him to be a huge star, but I thought Haley Joel Osment would have been in much bigger roles following his performance in the Sixth Sense. Looks like he has continually worked on movies and shows, but nothing stands out to me.

He also played a great lead role in Ghost Story (1981)

And I remember his role in Nightmare on Elm Street 3...which in my humble opinion was the best of the Elm Street sequels.

Idris Elba's career took a major hit from the abysmal Gunslinger movie. Which was unfortunately not fault of his own.
Damn you for making me remember that POS movie.

I thought Ben Foster was on a trajectory for an Academy Award winning career after 3:10 to Yuma.

Not really surprised about that one. Was taking off until he detailed it

Yeah, that held back guys like Marty Feldman, Willem Dafoe, Steve Buscemi, Ron Perlman, Danny Trejo, Danny Devito, Forrest Whitaker, John C. Reiley, Benecio Del Toro, etc.

What ever happened to Christian Slater?

Christian Slater really did fall off a cliff in the early 2000's. He was on a trajectory to be a mega star in the 90's and then started doing direct to dvd movies in the 2000's. It really coincided with Leo's rise. Good catch.

Josh Hartnett and Orlando Bloom I think for me.
Not to say either should have been bigger than they ended up (and with Bloom it's probably somewhat by choice). But they seemed destined to be prominent Hollywood types for a lot longer.

Almost done binging the rebooted Lost in Space on Netflix where she does a good job playing Dr. Smith.
