its the new normal (yes I meant the pun) if it isnt ran by a gay showrunner (ryan murphy), written for gay people, or have 2 LGBT characters it has to do bang up numbers just to make it.

Probably clearing a way for another reality show....TV is going away. Some of these shows need to try and land on other networks from the jump instead of trying to find a spot on the big three. People watching the three are looking for staged, predictable reality TV

Wrong, there are plenty of good shows that have lasted and have done extremely well ratings wise this season.. Last Resort had a horrible timeslot, and a plot that got stale after a short period of time.. and 666 Park Avenue couldn't convince American viewers before (the Revenge and Once Upon A Time watchers.. who are very very female in volume btw..) to stay tuned at 9.. while the rest of the world watched football or went to church.

only reason i watched 666 Park Ave was to determine how hot the female lead was

Crazy thing is... one of my friends said the exact same thing. Show was created to fail, oh well. I hope the writer for last resort learns from his mistake and comes out swinging on his next show.

I couldn't figure out how they were going to sustain the plot of Last Resort. They would've been better off making that a mini-series or a limited series event.

666 Park Avenue was meant to get the Desperate Housewives crowd... but didn't have the same chemistry AT ALL.

This blows. I was all caught up on Last Resort and enjoyed the show. I was catching up on 666.

This is why I only commit to shows on:

HBO
FX
AMC

anything other than CBS, FOX, ABC, NBC

Never watched Park Avenue, but it looked like crap. I watched 2-3 episodes of Last Resort and it was crap.

Chicago Fire is where it's at this season.

I tried watching it... couldn't get into it. They need to stop trying to re-make Third Watch.

How much have you watched? It's a damn good show. Honestly, the pilot was the weakest episode. Kinda reminds me of when Spartacus came out. The first episode was weak, but it became great after that.
