He didn’t think much about LSU. Do you think he's figuring it out?

Not unusual, but like the rest said enjoy college while you can. Go to baseball games, etc. I always felt like the spring semester went by quicker.

Well if there is one thing that can be said for the Payton regime it's that it is predictable. Head scratching play calling throughout the season, terrible start to season leads to a 500 mark half way through that leads to false hope, followed by the inevitable dissapearance of Drew Bree's' brain for a few games to eliminate any playoff hope, followed by Brees' re-emergence and renewed team focus to finish out the season at 8-8 or 7-9.

No need to expect anything different. Another pointless end to a pointless season. A move of some sort for Payton would be best for both him and the organization. As much as it sucks to say a fresh start is needed.

I've seen a lot of comments on here about how shitty/ghetto Covington High is and how great Mandeville High is. Do any of you have kids at either to substantiate these claims or are these just preconceived assumptions based upon other opinions? Serious question.
No kidding. bama gonna bama. Don't they have a playoff game to be talking about on their board instead of talking about LSU coaches?

What about about Thomas with Lynch?

That has zero to do with his pinky and everything to do with not seeing Davis due to pressure. He's going to come back and win this game for Oakland.
Impossible. I don't believe it.

Joey AD started his underwhelming press conference today with "this thing was never going to come down to a bidding war". If he wasn't going to go to war to find the HC what would make anybody think he will once the price tag gets too high for Aranda?
Dude go play on your own board whenever they get it up and operational again.

re: Bama Holding, plain as day

Yeah, but their offense wasn't doing shite either. I understand Bama being blind, but how can you as an LSU fan ignore that.

The game is always tight and it always seems to flip in their favor with a bogus call or non call. I know calls get missed throughout the game, but there always seems to be that critical call in every game. How is that hard to see?

See above post.....LSU game. If refs don't miss or make calls when convenient for Bama it's a different ball game. Imagine going balls out for 3+ quarters and staying in the game only to have a suspect call or non call change the game. It's demoralizing.

By the way, I never said they aren't good (they are damn good) Just said they most always get the benefit of the doubt. If thinking that makes me a bitch then so be it.

You know it's ok, as an LSU fan, to be pissed and comment on the obvious.

They don't score a touchdown at the end without the hold. We hold them to a field goal attempt and walk away at worst down 3 more. Still in the game actually and mentally.

You see, It's not that they miss holding calls, it's that they do it at opportune times when Bama needs the boost. You see it every game....playing LSU or not. The o my difference is we "whine" about it more because we are in each of these games until the inevitable "call" happens. Most teams aren't in the game.

Don't bring this up on the SEC Scoreboard or you will be accused of being "whiney bitches".

Apparently they are ok with "winning" that way.

Brees is an LSU fan? :)

Typical for Mr. stat monster himself, Drew Brees. He can't help himself. Has to check out of the run play.
By no means am I on the hire Orgeron train. However, I think the second part of your statement is a valid point. If we are going to talk about his record at Ole Miss we also need to discuss that he adapted/changed and has shown that he can take over top programs and lead them to victory. I think we need to look at both records.

To me the biggest indication of future events is what has happened in the past. When you look at both of those records it's clear to see that he has adjusted whatever he has needed to and is trending upward. The recruiting has always been there. It's looking more more like the management skills, needed of a head coach, are there now.

Aaron Rodgers

Is there something wrong with Rodgers physically? Besides not throwing for many yards now he's throwing picks you wouldn't normally see him throw. It is it just the packers offense isn't as explosive anymore?

re: This fricking defense!!!

It's Payton and/or Carmichael. I don't care if Carolinas defensive backfield is horrible. We know the saints defense is prone to let teams comeback. You have to at Least run the ball more than 5 times after going up by 21 points.

This scenario plays out every week. Everybody should be used to/expect it by now.
