Some other folks notably mentioned/seen in the first two episodes:
Lyonel "The Laughing Storm" Baratheon
- Heir to Storm's End (ancestral seat of House Baratheon)
- From his Westeros Wiki: "Lyonel had the habit of laughing loudly at his opponents, as well as in general, which earned him his nickname of "the Laughing Storm", and made him a great favorite of the smallfolk.
Ser Manfred Dondarrion
- A Knight from House Dondarrion (Yes, the same house Beric belongs to)
- Son and Heir to the Lord of Blackhaven (head of House Dondarrion)
Ser Steffon Fossoway
- Knight and Heir to House Fossoway of Cider Hall (they're in the Reach)
- We meet him and his cousin in Episode 1, where they are practicing as Dunk walks by and he's bullying the cousin.
Ser Raymun Fossoway
- His cousin Steffon refers to him as the "apple that's not quite ripe". The apple is the Fossoway sigil.
- Mentions to Dunk that his cousin also beats men in the practice yard in case he sees them again in the lists.
Tanselle "Too-Tall"
- Dornish puppeteer that Dunk is quite fond of.
- Is currently painting Dunk's new sigil (since he is not a blood-borne heir of a Knight he could no longer carry Pennytree's sigil).

Thanks. So many of the Targaryen names sound so much alike, I have a hard time remembering who is who. Seems like a lot are mentioned at one time or another during GOT.
Well they reuse names a lot. For instance, the Aegon that's mentioned (son of Maekar) is Aegon V. In reality he's more like Aegon the 8th. So it's really easy to get it all mixed up.
Maekar is the ancestor of a shite ton of Game of Thrones characters. Largely because he and at least one of his kids are pretty prolific in popping out heirs and spares.

It really is fun seeing these characters portrayed in the show so many years later. They havent disappointed in their portrayals so far.

Costume and set design is top notch. Kingsguard are great. None of the sets/costumers come off too clean giving it a CW show feel.

yeah, sucks we ONLY got like 5 years of the best TV show of all time and very well done content to talk about. Also, Bran is the main character. He always was. His entire storyline lead to why he was gonna end up on the iron throne. The only issue with it was how they rushed the ending rather than spending the time needed for 10 full seasons
Copium on levels never seen before

So you're saying you watched the entire scene and had no compulsion to keep watching once the scene had ended. Hmmm.

Ser Arlan of Pennytree, AKA ....The "Lance" of Westeros. He could make a Warhorse blush.

If you're on the run/missing, maybe it isn't a good idea to sit on the shoulders of the tallest dude there, right across from some of your family?
haha absolutely. I think thats why he got down.
If his mother was in attendance she wouldve spotted him for sure.

not a book reader so I have no idea what’s going to happen, but I did get the impression that egg got a good close up look at what the squires have to be able to do during the jousts to support the knights, and wondered how in the hell he was going to be able to do all that. Not only is it ultraviolent, it requires considerable physical strength
Hell I was wondering how he will be able to do it

Last night I was stuck in DFW due to all the flight cancellations. So I decided to whip out the ol’ iPad and watch the latest episode. At a table behind me was a young girls’ sports team (10-12) and a few chaperones in the same predicament. First scene, ol Ser Arlen walks out with that fricking Salami hanging down. Almost broke my iPad trying to lay it flat so those young girls wouldn’t be terrorized. And so the chaperones wouldn’t kick my arse.
Giant dong aside (tbh, I need to see at least 15 boobies on this show to make up for that) really liking the show so far. I

Yep. The show may not have the impact of GoT but it is quality work.
