I have to admit that I do always take some small joy in that.
If you read the post-Mortem one (or both of them) went to the Caribbean and turned off their phones thinking the backlash would be mild but palatable.
When they got back, everybody hated them and Disney fired them from Star Wars and they lost their other HBO show.

Out of all the idiots in all the idiot worlds, whoever came up with that being how he dies is the biggest idiot. If you're going to have Arya kill him, at least make it more believable. The night king was 10 steps ahead of everyone, yet he couldn't see she was going to drop the dagger to her other free hand and stab him.

If they could not swim, how did the chain get attached to Viserion? And sticking with plot holes, why didn't the Night King just raise Viserion from the dead while the dragon was still under water and not have to do the whole chain pull?

This part doesn’t bother me so much. They can’t swim but that doesn’t mean the NK wouldn’t send a dozen of them down there with a chain to tie up the dragon and then just leave the wights there. A lot of things bother me about the season but that one not so much.

I did a re-watch recently. Man the last 2 seasons are so fricking bad. Th plot, dialogue, everything. Ruined a great show.
