I said the same thing after watching. I was looking toward to this more than I was GoT. I was only expecting 3 episodes for some reason, so if there’s 5, even better.

incredible, the acting and the suspense though we know the story and outcome is just so good. The end to ep 2 was something else!

I’m here to say what everyone else is. I was hooked after ep 1. Ep 2 hit it out of the park. What a show.

I'm just now watching E02, and this show is still firing on all cylinders. Coincidentally, I had just done a rewatch of GoT E05 before watching this, and it's just insane just how much difference in quality there are between the two. A miniseries that is literally better than it in every regard

Skarsgard's character Boris Shcherbina is an absolute tool, at least at first it seems like

He’s simple, but he’s also a man of action.

I knew he'd step up towards the end and explain to those men why they would do the job that needed to be done.

Potential spoilers

I came on to past that. Apparently, none of the three dies from ARS, one had a heart attack in 2005 and died, one is alive today and the writer lost track of the other in 2015 but was alive then.

My gf was watching haphazardly during ep 1 but was glued to the tv during ep 2. It's impactful stuff.

I’m guilty of wanting/ enjoying this show more than GOT at the moment. Just think at how close this disaster could have completely destroyed Russia and a lot of Europe? Damn!
