I was a bit concerned that Sony didn’t end the review embargo until this afternoon. Silly decision by them because it’s getting rave reviews and that word of mouth would have been helpful for the box office. 95% critic score after 84 reviews.

People on reddit who have gotten to see this haven't been kind. Consensus was very artsy, slow, with a bizarre ending. Everyone warned not to expect anything like Days or Weeks.

Rented Days on YouTube for $4 the other night. It’s been years since I’ve seen it. It’s good but I think it’s a tad overrated. I’ve never seen Weeks. Plan on watching it tomorrow before I go see Years

28 days has one of the coolest beginning with him waking up in the hospital.
I also like the beginning of 28 weeks, when the shite hits the fan in the city.

The more reviews coming out, the more disappointed I'm getting. I can tell Jeremy jahns didn't not think too highly of this movie, which sucks because it's right up his alley. Apparently the ending is bizarre and doesn't make sense

Just sat down for the 230 show. Just finished the 2nd one 30 min ago. I actually thought it was damn good besides now poorly done the night vision scene at the end was done, and how it didn’t make sense that only the dad zombie was smarter than all the others. The scene where they find the mom is creepy as shite not knowing if she’s a zombie or not

It was sandwiched with the opening scene in an attempt to bring brevity and also show off a “movie star”. I’m certain it was additional photography done after test screenings were bad. It was offensive.
The whole thing was a shite sandwich.
