The Rose Bowl
I went in 2010 and 2011 when Wisconsin played TCU and Oregon. Tailgating was so much fun and the bowl made everything seem bigger. Awesome experiences for me, despite the losses.

Went last season. The douchiness of Michigan fans keeps The Big House off my list.

Homer post alert
Sanford is beautiful when those home fans are leaving in a mass exodus at field level behind the hedges....
unfortunately as a Tech fan I think 2016 will be the last time I see that in person for a long....long time

Oh. You're one of those.
War memorial is trash. There most definitely bad seats. It's so low anything in the corners or the end zone you can't see the other end of the field.
Sit on the twenty half way up on the lower level and tell me it's even comparable

I've seen a game in all SEC stadiums except Mizzou, though I have been to the stadium. Been to Syracuse, TCU, Baylor (Old Stadium), OU, Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Alamodome (UTSA).
Best atmosphere:
1a. Florida
1b. Auburn
Nicest:
1. Bama
2. UGA

Honorable mention for this once great venue of sport, The Old Gray Lady, Legion Field:
Home to the legendary Birmingham Iron
It's rather dumpy now, and that area of town is not one you want to spend much time in. She hosted a lot of legendary games featuring some of the great legends of football history.

And, for obvious reasons, this cathedral of college football, Bryant-Denny Stadium

Having been stationed at the Air Force Academy in the late 1980's as an Athletic Trainer and Falcon stadium is quaint and such a beautiful backdrop:
Falcon Stadium
Clemson's Death Valley is my Homer pick but AF Falcons stadium will always be a sentimental favorite.
Doak-Campbell is a great place..
I'll even give a shout out to Wille B....
I've also been to South Bend and that's a special place.
I've been to Oklahoma and didn't care for it..

Beaver Stadium at PSU was a fun environment
Memorial stadium in Nebraska
Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville
Husky stadium but didn't go for a game.
Going to Camp Randall in October

Always like the look of Penn's.

The Sun Bowl in El Paso is underrated. The stands may not be much to look at with one end zoned tarped off, but the stadium is built right into the mountain and the views are fantastic.

I've been to a lot of college football stadiums and, for my money, nothing remotely touches Husky Stadium in Seattle. Rose Bowl is second.
I think Neyland is pretty cool as well. Ditto Sanford.
Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan State, and Oklahoma are perfectly nice and functional stadiums but nothing special from a visual/aesthetic standpoint. Michigan is fine.
I like Texas fans, but DKR was...disappointing. Just a giant erector set with a lot of shitty views. Penn State was nothing special as well. Miami is just a shithole stadium in a terrible part of the city with some of the worst fans in the sport. USC is cool because of the history, but the visuals are awful in that stadium and the neighborhood is crap. Stanford has a very strange lay out for a relatively smaller stadium.
For lesser-known stadiums, Kenan Memorial is really nice. Nippert, as previously mentioned, is a very cool stadium both inside and out. Sun Devil Stadium is a great time and a beautiful setting. Cal is a cool old stadium.
Of the better-known programs and stadiums, I have yet to visit LSU, Clemson, A&M, Wisconsin, FSU, and Oregon.
