Y’all really mad at the Dodgers for running an elite business?

Everything they have done has been within the boundaries of the rules; nothing illegal. Just elite. Elite front office, elite roster, elite farm system, elite manag…well, elite front office, roster, and farm system. Yet the Astros get caught red handed after blatantly cheating, face no punishment, and all you dummies celebrate it. I know all you socialism loving liberals (looking at you, Owl Lib) hate capitalism and blame the success of others for your own personal failures, but the recent success of the Dodgers is entirely due to great business acumen and done entirely within the laws of the game. The collapse of the Cheating Houston Astros back into poverty has been a joy to watch. A small part of me wants the Dodgers win it again to show that much like the Most Successful Franchise in the History of Organized Sports the New York Yankees, a three-peat is possible through great ownership and a team being built the right way. If the Yankees don’t win it this year, I hope the Dodgers do. Don’t hate because you can’t duplicate.
Cheaters

Yankees have spent like $6 billion on payroll in the 21st century and have the same amount of titles as the Marlins.

I know the NHL is more niche but it's wild to me that the Chicago Blackhawks covered up sexual assault during the Cup wins and got away with it and no one cares.

Every single person who had a leadership position in the organization was basically let go.

Yeah and no one cares that Anaheim brought Coach Q back and Edmonton brought Stan Bowman back. Yet the Florida Panthers are supposedly "ruining" hockey.

I have a feeling Jerry has never dodged a single dong.

At the end of the day, professional sports in the US shouldn’t hand out titles based on who has the most cash. Put a cap and a floor and call it a day. It will be a messy lockout for sure, but get it done.

Think you missed the mark. People don’t like the current rules and the Dodgers current team is exposing it enough that people are hoping the change finally happens to the rules. The end of the super team. The one sport with no salary cap and it creates lopsided teams, an unbalanced league which is becoming harder to watch (current television agreement sucks too). I get dodgers fans not wanting the change because the dominant guarentee would go away. Stars would have to go to smaller markets to get big pay checks, more teams would be in World Series talks. It’s not about the dodgers, it’s about balancing the league out. Fortunately the dodgers have gotten real loud in their contracts lately so change becomes more possible. It’s only a matter of time if it stays this way MLB loses its audience. Which means less money and more teams going under.

All I can do is hope for the injury bug to hit them hard and serve them right.
