Wow, this is insane

It’s like the Super Bowl

I was considering attending a game THUR in ATL but not at 400 to sit in the last row

Anyone have any tips on cheaper tix?

SECT 337

Only 280$ !

That’s very cheap compared to what I’ve seen.

Remember, you’re competing for seats with every country’s richest trust fund babies. If you wanna go, it’s gonna cost you.

$400 is super cheap.

That’s what I saw for like Iran games.

USA games and other big games are like $2500 for the worst seat in the house

I might pay $400 for a US game just to say I did it. No chance I’m paying $400 to watch Norway v Iraq. Actually I might just stay away from that game regardless of price.

It’s much better watching it on tv.

most sporting events are.

I'd rank as sports better to watch on TV versus in person.

1.Golf
2. Football
3. Soccer
4. Baseball
5, Basketball

I got $180 for Germany vs Curacao in a decent section, right by a lot of Curacao fans.

I found Austria/Algeria tix in KC for 160 each on the FIFA official resale site, which was surprisingly much cheaper than the stubhubs of the world.

Must not been to any big matches or games then.

Was at LSU/Bama in 2019.
Wouldn’t have traded watching on tv for anything.

Was in Milan to see Inter beat AC for the scudetto in 2024. That was a party similar to being in NOLA for the saints winning the Super Bowl in 2011.

Been to countless other big football games and soccer matches.
Crazy take on your part.

The ticket prices are pretty insane IMO

I am a soccer casual & would expect to pay maybe a couple hundred to watch a game in person that I don’t really care about. Similar to a big LSU game or an NFL game. It was much higher than that for any of the matches in Houston/Dallas. Would expect to pay more for a US game obviously

I didn’t realize “going to a WC match” was a bucket list item for so many people

About to look at what’s available on official FIFA website site… their ticket site is weird. Making me wait 23 minutes before I can access

I thought I may luck out and go see Congo and Uzbekistan in ATL.

Not for 1k, I won't. Holy shite. There's no one in either of those countries who can afford that price.

I would drop $400 easily. It’s over a grand to walk in the door in Dallas. $2-3k for one of the Argentina games.

I considered going to a World Cup game in Atlanta, but then I saw the prices. frick that.

I may still find a good sports bar in the city to watch one of the more hyped up matches, but that's about it.
